The Bucks have been facing some hard times lately but they have some good pieces to work with and i'm going to bring them back to repectability.
The Bucks 2003-04 Roster
G-TJ Ford G-Michael Redd F-Tim Thomas F-Toni Kukoc C-Joe Smith ---------------------------- G-Damon Jones G-Erick Strickland G-Desmond Mason F-Brian Skinner F-Marcus Haislip C-Joel Pryzbilla C-Dan Gadzuric ---------
Biggest Cap Busts
F-Tim Thomas (100+pts in overall 1000 cap) F-Toni Kukoc (100+pts in overall 1000 cap)
Projected Staters
PG- TJ Ford (75 rate) *-Lightning fast, can drive in and gets some steals, knowbody is taking his starting role.
SG- Mike Redd (77 rate) *-Starts by default, we need shooting and knowbodies better.
SF-Tim Thomas (74 rate) *-He's tall, can shoot, can run, and he needs to put up numbers so I can deal him.
PF-Toni Kukoc (77 rate) *-He's tall, and can hit shots, nothing great inside but he's too good to sit.
C-Joe Smith (72 rate) *-He's small but he is the only rebounder I have.
------------------------------------ Bench's Best
SF-Demond Mason (75 rate) *-Can run and jump, plays good D, gets plenty minutes behind Thomas/Redd
C-Dan Gadzuric *-Hustle, a little bit of defense.
---------------------- First game/tonight/update soon.

Bucks 1st game against the Pistons. Starters -Ford -Redd -Thomas -Kukoc -Smith -------- -Billups -Hamilton -Prince -Wallace -Campbell The Pistons dominated me in every way, rebounding, shooting...My team couldn't do anything against this defense and the Bucks loose there first game at home 87-67 Stat Leaders ---------------- Ford 16pts/12asts/7rebs/4stls Redd 26pts/7rebs/5-7 3pt Mason 16pts/8rebs Thomas 10pts/12rebs/3-3 3pt ----------------- Billups 32pts/8asts Hamilton 22pts/5asts Prince 10pts/12rebs Milicec 15pts/12rebs/4blks ------------ My lineup's won't be changed but Mason is really looking good so Thomas or Kukoc could be benched. And also added to F Tim Thomas and Toni Kukoc to the Trading Block. Game 2 ( Cavs)

Starters against the Cavs
G-Ford G-Redd F-Thomas F-Kukoc C-Smith ---------- G-Wagner G-Davis F-James F-Boozer C-Ilgauskas
First Quarter The Bucks looked lost on defense, the Cavs speed killed me and had to put in Mason early. Ford played really bad turning it over 5 times. Smith on Ilgauskas was a bad move and put in Pryzbilla for the first time. Redd was the only bright spot getting 13pts
Second Quarter The Cavs just gave up, Redd and Mason lit them up but LeBron scored 12. I ended the half winning by 8.
Third Quarter Really bad quarter for both teams, Boozer and Diop foul out, Mike Redd injured his ankle and I finished down by 12.
Fourth Quarter With Redd out I had no shooting, Tim Thomas and Desmond Mason provided some nice highlights but I lost the game and Redd.
Final Cavs 84-70
Box Score ------------ Redd 16pts Ford 15pts/7asts Mason 15pts/8rebs Thomas 7pts/1reb Smith 12pts/14rebs ----------- ------------- James 25pts/10rebs Davis 22pts Wagner 12pts/12asts Ilgauskas 14pts/12rebs/7blks Boozer 6pts/10rebs
Thomas is playing like crap and I ended up losing Redd for the next 3 games, that really hurts because he's the only good shooter the Bucks have. Smith is my only bright spot, he's suprized. Haislip will be getting more PT now. And Mason will start against the Spurs.
Signed off waivers -SG Voshon Lenard

Lineup's against the Spurs...
G-Ford G-Mason F-Thomas F-Kukoc C-Smith ------------- G-Parker G-Ginobili F-Bowen F-Duncan C-Nesterovic
First My Bucks started out hot, Thomas and Mason were driving right threw the Spurs surprizingly weak D...Nesterovic had 3 fouls, Duncan had 4 fouls and I thought I had the game..
Second Being up by 12 I put Marcus Haislip in the game. Immedialty Duncan was put in and Marcus got torched...The lead shrunk to 4. Ford had a nice quarter with 5 assists but Joe Smith fouled out.
Third Bowen and Ginobili trade three's for most of quarter and my Bucks went ice cold...Scored 5 points in the 3rd while Tim Duncan dominated the the game inside.
Fourth Boy do I miss Redd, I hate watching Mason shoot...Duncan dominates, and Ford turns it over and I lose 124-56 in a huge loss.
Stats -------- Ford 20pts/9asts/12rebs/9tos Mason 12pts/12rebs Haislip 12pts/9rebs/4blks Smith 10pts/16rebs -------------- ----------------- Parker 20pts/13asts/4stls Ginobili 25pts/5asts/3stls Bowen 15pts/5-5 3pt Duncan 47pts/27rebs/13asts/9blks/4stls Nesterovic 12pts/4rebs
I'm looking at some trades for Thomas, Portland/Chicago and Memphis are interested, i'll update any roster changes.
Injury Update
G Mike Redd 2 games (Ankle) G Damon Jones 7 game (Leg)

Ouch, make your lineup:
PG-Ford SG-Thomas SF-Mason PF-Smith C-Gadzuric
Thatta way Thomas gets mismatches and just adjust your defensive matchups so Mason covers the 2 and Thomas on the 3

*Hired Darren Brady as my new trainer for 60pts. Rated a "Master". Hopefully this move will keep my players healthy and bring there ratings up.
Lineup's vs Hawks
G- Ford G- Redd F- Mason F- Thomas C- Smith --------- --------
G- Terry G- Jackson F- Diaw F- SAR C- Ratliff
-Redd torched the Hawks from three hitting 12 of 14 from 3 and had 47pts. The Bucks played there best game and shut down the Hawks SAR to just 6pts...Ford had another great game and Haislip played well in limuted minutes. Redd proved to be too much and the Bucks won there first game of the year 112-72.
Stats --------- Ford 19pts/15asts/8rebs Redd 47ps/12-14 3p Mason 16pts/7rebs Thomas 8pts/8rebs Smith 12pts/14rebs

Trade Bucks trade F Tim Thomas & C Joe Smith for Pistons F Tayshaun Prince and C Mahmet Okur - I rid myself of Tim's contract but hate to loose Smith who was my solid rebounder. -Prince will start at SG and Redd with move to SF to pose matchup problems....And Mason will come off the bench. Mahmet will start over Gadzuric but both will split time...Both players are young and could be big parts of my future.

Bucks vs Knicks
Starters
G T.J. Ford G Tayshaun Prince F Mike Redd F Toni Kukoc C Mahmet Okur ------------------- G Ward G Houston F Van Horn F McDyess C Thomas
-------------------- -We switched leads for most of the game, McDyess really hurt me and Houston had 5 3's. Prince had a bad game going 1-12 with 4 points...Okur had a nice game and kept Kurt in check. Redd was my star hitting 3's like crazy over Van Horn who played like crap, Ford racked another triple-double and torched Ward and Williams on both sides of the court...
FINAL Bucks 110-94 BOX SCORE ----------------- Ford 17pts/15asts/10rebs/4stls/1tu Redd 39pts/9-13 3pt/7-7ft Prince 4pts/4rebs/4fls Kukoc 18pts/10rebs/8asts/4blks/5stls Okur 14pts/14rebs/3blks
Mason 12ps/5rebs/ Lenard 10pts/2asts ------------------------- ---------------------- Houston 25ps/5-9 3pt Van Horn 15pts/4rebs McDyess 29pts/17rebs Thomas 10pts/15rebs
Lampe 15pts Sweetney 12pts/8rebs Harrington 8pts/13rebs
-Redd continues to come up big nailing 3's...He's averaging 27ppg (5th in the L).
-Prince really let me down, his shooting is still not as good as it was at Kentucky but will start against the Nuggets.
