I think it will take a year or two, but AZ will be a mid-level (maybe upper level) PAC 10 team.

It doesnt take as long to be towards the top of the Pac 10 as it would be to be at top of SEC,ACC,Big 10 and Big 12

I would not say that. Besides AZ and WASH, the rest of the teams are all pretty good.

Yeah I have noticed there is alot of Bias against the Pac 10. The Big East is not any good but I think people just flat out hate the Pac 10.

I think the Pac-10 is at the bottom of the five major conferences (obviously, I'm now counting the Big Least as a mid-major), but I think it's still a decent conference. Some of it sucks, some of it doesn't, much like...oh, the Big Ten, the Big XII, the SEC and the ACC. It's just that there's fewer really good schools than in those other conferences, and the gulf between the top schools and the bottom, or even the middle, schools is bigger than in the others.
Here's what I think it boils down to: The Pac-10 is, year-in and year-out, what the Big XII is this year.

The Pac 10 is probably the strongest conference, what the hell are you people smoking?

NOPE. Look at it this way Oregon St is probably middle of the road Pac 10. The better teams being USC, Cal, Arizona St, Stanford, Wash St, and possibly even UCLA and Oregon. Oregon state lost to LSU at LSU, Probably the very best team in the SEC because of a lousy fieldgoal kicker. But Oregon St was probably the better team. Being a student of the Love of Knowlege or hatred of knowledge as your sylogism states, than you could understand where this hypothosis is leading. But Ill explain my deduction for those whos philosophical understanding might not be as concrete. If a middle of the road team in one conference (Pac 10) will call it team "A" (Oregon St) beats the best team from a conference which is supposedly superior (LSU) Team "B" Then Team "A" must be better than everyone else in Team "B" conference. And with that conclusion we could draw anohter one. That being everyone else in the Pac 10 thats better than OSU (5-6 teams) than they are also better than everyone is the SEC. Oregon St...Dashed hopes and good intentions. Good, better, best, bested. How do you like that for a declinsion?

Ah, but we all know that "Team A beat team B and team B beat team C so team A is by definition better than team C" is a logical fallacy in college football more often than not.
Consider: TCU beat Northwestern. Northwestern beat Kansas. I really don't think this automatically makes TCU better than Kansas, do you? After all, Kansas gave Tech a fit, something we definitely didn't do (not after about halfway through the second quarter, that is).

Well Philosophically speaking your point would be moot becuase TCU beat Northwestern and Nortwestern Beat Kansas. Also Texas Tech was down on TCU by 21 and came back to win, but Texas Tech was down on Kansas by 25 and came back. So by the rules of Logic WyoCowpoke is correct. I could refute this argument all day long and present a myriad of dilemmas. But while we are on the subject I would like to know YbrickTCU's views on 19th century Philosophers reaction against Metaphysical Idealism (Soren Kiekergaard and Frederick Neitche's views especially)

Nietzsche is awesome. I'm not too familiar with Kiekergaard. I really just lightly dabble in philosophy.

You can throw all that philosophy crap around but it doesnt relate to college football, Pac 10 is not the best conference.

I will decline to comment on the philosophical bantam you guys got going because I will admit my philosophical understanding is not as concrete as it should be. I will just nod my head and pretendlike I have a clue I was a Geology Major!! I have only heard of Neitche and only know he was somewhat radical. Never even heard of the other guy.
