I wasn't able to watch the game, but on the radio it sounded like KU killed themselves against NU. They had good field position for almost the entire first half and weren't able to get in the endzone. If they scored just once that half, maybe the outcome would have been different! Then to cap it off, late in the 4th facing a 4th and long, Mangino decides to try a fake punt, running an option to a freshman punter! Personally, I think it was a horrible call since KU's defense had started to play well again towards the end and they still had 2 TO i believe was anyone able to watch the game that may have a different point of view???

No, didn't catch it, but the stats didn't quite impress me. If KU had scored 1 TD they would have won.

That was their problem the whole game. First quarter they were great, except everytime they got close they couldn't get it in. Penalties also killed them it sounded like. If I heard right, they had 2 false starts on WR's! I know that is only 5 yards and minor compared to some 15 yarders they had, but it just shows how they were killing themselves. It also sounded like they had a few dropped balls which sounded like what happened to them all of last year.

Thats a long dry spell! I thought Kansas was going to do it this year. The Jayhawks have made major strides in their program the last few years and Nebraska has really struggled and not been the typical dominating team they have been in the past. The Husker D seems solid but their offense has not been able to do much of anything against anyone.

36 years in a row losing to the same team is bad! If not Kansas and Nebraska, who does own the record of longest losing streak to 1 team? After some investigating, I found out its Navy that has that dubious distinction against Notre Dame (40 in a row). The last time Navy won was 1963...when Roger Staughback was QB for Navy.

I was at the game and both teams showed signs of being really good and then sometimes of playing terrible. Nebraska's offense again was terrible especially in 2nd half when Dailey threw a bunch of interceptions(again). I am glad Nebraskas defense played good especially against a good KU offense. Both teams has a lot of stupid penalties in the game as well.

From what i heard, Nebraska's Defense played really well... but i wouldn't go as far as saying KU's offense is good! they beat up on 2 teams the first 2 games that don't look like they are going to have the years they had last year, and then they have showed nothing! Hopefully, though, they can get back to the way they played those first 2 games and the first half against Texas Tech for this weekends showdown with K-State. I think KU has a legitimate shot at beating them this year.

I really hope the Jayhawks beat the Wildkittens of KSU. I hope so as well. Kansas recruited a friend of mine last year, and I would like to see the Jayhawks succed.
