In the new ESPN/USA Today poll the Big Ten has 5 teams in the top 16! Purdue 10, Minnesota 13, Michigan 14, Ohio State 15, Wisconsin 16.

Ohio State doesn't belong there. That is ridiculous.

This has to prove once and for all that the poll system is a joke. They need a different format.
And a playoff system.

We all know it will never happen. It should, but it won't. There is too much money involved in the current system, and they will not change it.

The Big 10's usual powerhouses in Michigan and Ohio State have not looked very good or near the teams that they have been the last few years.

The Big 10's usual powerhouses in Michigan and Ohio State have not looked very good or near the teams that they have been the last few years. Well every now and then that will happen. The BIG 10 has some other good teams, and is still probably one of the 3 strongest conferences in the country.

Purdue is the only team that deserves to be ranked where it is right now...the rest are all overrated...

There is a lot of parity in college football and is much more difficult to win all the games and a lot of teams that used to be gimmies are much better and could upset you on any given Saturday.

Of course tOSU belongs there. Especially if NC State is 25th, we beat them at their house.

I think it is significant that there are No Big Ten Teams higher than NO. 10 and as for Ohio State, let's see. They beat the "bowl contending" Marshall team by 3 and they beat NC State by 8 before LOSING to Northwestern by 6. Northwestern? It also appears that they could very well lose their next two games to Wisconsin and Iowa before getting to play another patsie in Indiana.

After today, yeah, the Big 10.5 is weak.
Purdue beats Penn State by 7. Ohio State loses (again) to Wisconsin. Michigan beats Minnesota by returning an INT with 2 minutes to go. Michigan State and Illinois, well, who cares. Northwestern takes Indiana into 2 overtimes (does this mean Indiana is better than tOSU?)
The biggest teller is that the two undefeated Little 10 teams are ranked behind teams with one loss.
