Four teams stand atop the college football world now, USC, OU, UM, & AU, of these teams auburn or Miami have the hardest schedule, (probably auburn) and USC and Oklahoma should breeze through, so at this point who is the best team in college football, and could there be an undefeated team that gets the shaft this year. and if there are 3 undefeated teams at the end of the year and two of them play for the title and the other gets screwed, should the BCS change or will the fans force the NCAA to change?

Even if there were, the fans can't force the BCS to change. What are they going to do, boycott? USC fans were against the BCS, but LSU and OU fans were for it. So the team that gets left out will cry, and the other two will be happy.

By the way, does anyone know when the first BCS polls come out. It might be next week, but I don't know for sure. I know that it is soon though. USC had better not be #1, if they are I will be extremely pissed.

Don't forget Purdue, Wisconsin, and Virginia.

Id be surprised if USC werent #1 With the polls being two-thirds of the BCS, I don't see how that could not be the case.

What the f*** did you just say. You think im for the BCS? Where did you get that idea. No OU fan or any college football fan is for the BCS. The BCS is the only reason you played for a national championship last year. Had you won, you would have gotten a share of it. The polls would have had you play for 3rd, behind USC and LSU (if it were really #1 vs #2 in the polls, and the Rose Bowl didn't take the Pac 10). If there were no BCS, and Oklahoma beat LSU last year, USC would have had all the votes.

Their is far to much money in the current system. At this point the BCS is better than the media polls, however last years formula was better than this years. If I had to choose between the BCS and the media polls, I would take the BCS every time.

How can you be so sure that there wont be a playoff system. They can still have bowl games for the other teams that didnt make the playoff. The top 8 could be in a playoff format, and you can still hold the games at the major bowl sites(Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, ect.)

A playoff would be nice, but again their is too much money in the current system. If we ever do have a playoff I think it will be the top 4 teams, not the top 8.
