I think they put FSU in front of them in cause they lost to the current #3 team in the country (Miami) and they just dominated the previously #6 team in the country Virginia.

Well Wisconsin just won at the previously undefeated #5 Purdue. I know and I think that Wisconsin should be ahead of both of them but I was just thinking in the perspective of what the voters were thinking in that FSU won by a lot more. Wisconsin did very well on Saturday and are still undefeated and should be ahead of the 1 loss teams.

How the hell is UW only #7? They should at least be #3 or 4.

I wouldnt say 3 or 4, but definately 5 I highly doubt a team would jump 10 spots after just 1 game.

I highly doubt a team would jump 10 spots after just 1 game. Its really hard to jump a lot of spots in one week especailly in this case where you are in the top of the standing and is very difficult to jump over other top teams.

After this week, here's what I think the top 5 should be:
1. Oklahoma - Still very impressive against everyone they've faced so far, although their margins of victory are getting smaller every week it seems. 2. Auburn - At the top of the toughest league in I-A. 3. USC - I'm starting to think they're not QUITE as overrated as everyone (including me) has been saying. They still definitely don't deserve No. 1, and I think No. 3 is still being generous. 4. Miami - Nearly losing to Louisville drops them just below Auburn and USC now. 5. Wisconsin - Yes, they're at the top of the Big 11. Yes, they beat Purdue. But they've got a ways to go before I'll agree they're better than the four teams listed above.
Kinda nice how there's a solid top 5 now, and a solid leader in each of the five major conferences. But if you'd told me two months ago that Wisconsin would be winning the Big 11 and Auburn would be at the top of the SEC, I'd have laughed in your face. Interesting how things have worked out now.

I just want to say that the coaches must feel for UGa losing last year to LSU twice, what with them picked to be #1 in the conference for each of those years. Why else would they be ranked #6.
I think college rankings should start this week. No preseason, or even first few weeks of the season crap. That way, the undefeateds would be ranked higher, and starting out unranked wouldn't be as much of a hindrance. Also, starting at number one wouldn't keep you at number one by barely winning (except the last game).
