I have a game set up on Yahoo fantasy and it is free. You simply pick the winners of 15 to 20 games a week and see how you do against the rest. There are point spreads We presently have 7 players and have room for 50. If interested follow the instructions below. Welcome to Yahoo! Sports College Football Pick'em. You have created the Private Group called Funkbus and the Pick Set called billswinners in that group. To allow other people to join this group send them the Group ID# (4593) and the Password (riders). Remember, it is the Group ID#, not the group name, that other people must use to join your group. You are now ready to participate in College Football Pick'em. Your goal is to select the winner of each of this year's Top 25 games. Thanks for joining. Good luck. -- College Football Pick'em Commissioner football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/college

Hey Bills, When do we get to pick. It is August 30 and nothing is going on. I am all pumped up. I even found out that NC A&T and Kentucky both have football teams!! When I went to UVA, I always thought of Scott Stadium as the "World's Largest Outdoor Bar"! -Poleon

In the same vein, the saying goes in Lexington that Commonwealth Stadium is where 70,000 Wildcat fans get together on Saturdays to argue about the upcoming basketball season. I'm not seeing where we can get in to pick 'em yet either. I'm gonna miss the Pillsbury Throwboy. We might not win, but it was fun to see 3 big SEC linemen trying to take Lorenzen down. Gotta get your kicks somewhere...

I'm tired of being a 'Rookie." Maybe I'll just post this message over and over to get 50. Then again, at an older age, maybe I should be glad.

word, you and I and Poleon should be honored to be considered rookies at anything. There, I found the proper place to use that silly smilley. Say, I expect you to watch part of the RNC since I did listen to Obama and Kerry.

I'm not even going to watch the RNC. I didn't watch the DNC either. I already know who they are going to nominate and who I'm voting for or against I remember the fun days when television was new and Walter Cronkite was the reporter and there actually was some doubt as to who the nominee of each party was going to be! "Lead, Follow or get the Hell out of the way!"

You are right about the compliment. As for the convention, I have and will be watching. He's my President too, you know. Besides, it's great theater, watching rich white guys dance and act compassionate. (I guess that could be said for both conventions.) "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer." (Just kidding about the enemy crack.)

Naw, I missed the William Jennings Bryan escapes. However I was there when Freemont got screwed over in 1856 and "Old Hickery" pulled a few fast ones in the early 1800s. Now "Big Red" (That's what we called Tommy Jefferson), there was a fine fellow, but he had a few skeletons and Sally Hemming in the closet! LOL -Poleon

I will not watch much of the convention. Did you see that Michael Moore is carrying credentials from USA today making him their reporter. One of the southern delegates said, "back home we deal with jackasses all the time so bring him on." I plan the listen to McCain and The terminator and President Bush. I will probably let Greta tell me what I should think.

Yeah. Michael Moore will be about as popular in the convention hall as a Jimmy Dean pork sausage salesman in Israel. ;D
