The 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption wasn't anywhere near as bad as it gets. It was a .24 cubic mile eruption. There was an eruption where Yellowstone is now that was 600 cubic miles*. Thats 2400 times bigger. Think the end of life as we know it.
Hopefully people won't be caught offguard like last time, so fewer people (if any) will die.

Mt. St. Helens is not going to explode with lava and shit. It's just these Volcano experts have finally come out of the basement because something is happening. Don't worry about it.

ya, i've finally learned that all that is happening is the mountain is basically growing it's dome back, it's not really a big deal at all

I just turned on the weather channel and they said this will blow and most likely molten rock will blow and the dome that the mountain just started to get back will blow also

I just turned on the weather channel and they said this will blow and most likely molten rock will blow and the dome that the mountain just started to get back will blow also that's not what i've heard, all that's happening is that some sort of lava is going to flow up from the volcano and create a new dome, it's not like it's going anywhere or anything like that
