I think the Wolves will do it but that is just my opinion, it will be tough with Spurs right on their tail.

if the wolves don't get the #1 seed i will be very surprised, they are loaded, they were a good team with just garnett, think of what they are now, with sprewell and cassell, and when sczerbiak gets back they will have a three point shooter too, they're easily my pick

Everyone knows that KG will get his stats night in and night out. In order for the Wolves to win it, Cassel and Spree need to remain consistant and play tough D. The Spurs have the best defene in the league and a very decent offense. The Spurs will beat you one way or another. They'll get it done on either side. The reason why I picked the Spurs is because they are consistant, and the Wolves I dont think are at all.

Spurs, they are more consistent, Wolves could fall behind Spurs really fast but Spurs wont get that far behind Wolves all season... Also, Kody on ur quote at bottom " No Reciever " ... At beg. of season Eagles had no talent at WR, but if you ask me now I say they got 3 talented WR's... Mitchell could be a #1 next year Pinkston and Thrash more 3rd recievers but either could be #2 if they don't get another guy, there WR aren't as bad as everyone thinks.

That quote came off ESPN. Mitchell right now is there 3rd reciever. Therel ooking to get TO this offseason. There recievers arn't under, or overated.

Wolves. Spurs are good but wolves are better. consistant? Wolves are also without Wally, T-Hud, and Kandiman. Once at full strength all you doubters better watchout.

Consistent? If you call losing 3 games in a row consistent then I guess you can say they are a consistent team. The Wolves are better then the Spurs WITHOUT Hudson, Sczerbiack and Olowokhandi. Hudson will give quality minutes off the bench and be a great burst of offense, Szcerbiack will find his range and be our 3 point shooter and Khandi will help Garnett in the defensive area and the rebounds. The Wolves will be that much better then the Spurs when those 3 guys return and that is scary to think about. The Wolves are the best team in the league in my opinion. Giving the second honors tied with the Kings and Pacers. And by the way just because the Pacers are in the east doesnt mean they cant be good, they have to best record in the NBA. But anyways if KG, Cassell and Spree are all on in the playoffs then this team will go far and beyond everyone.

The Spurs will rise to the top in the end for the Midwest Division with the T-Wolves close at second mainly due to the return of Wally and Hudson because their return will do the opposite to the T-Wolves who are playing better with both Cassels and Spree playing close to the entire game. Cassels and Spree are not going to want to give their minutes that they have already earned and this I feel will create problems for the team and for KG who is benefitting by playing without Wally and Hudson as for Kandiman the T-Wolves will never get the dominating play out of him (will get hurt again and again) and they are better off playing him off the bench supporting Earwin Johnson and OMiller.

Ypou probably right with Kandi man, too strong of past with injuries. especially the knees. Wally would get the least amount of min even if he subed for both Spree and KG, and T-hud would get a decent amount of min IF he subed for both hoiberg and Cassell. Maybe bias but I like T-hud.

i think dallas has a chance if they can just get thier head into the game. the way they are playing right now, im not so sure they will make the playoffs. they just arent the team they were last year.

DALLAS REALLY MISSES VAN EXEL. I THINK THE TRADE FOR JAMISON HURT THEM.PLUS THEY HAVE TOO MANY GUYS WHO PLAY THE SAME POSITION. WITH NO INSIDE PRESENCE. MOST CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE WON WITH A GOOD DEFENSE. THAT IS WHY RASHEED WALLACE WOULD NOT BE THE ANSWER EITHER.

The trade for Jamison was good because it added a post presence. The trade for Walker was bad because they have enough 3-point shooters they should have gotten a post player or big man or someone who could play defense and Walker cant do any of those things. The only way Walker can post up on someone is if the defender is 5 inches shorter then him. I dont like Dallas' chances this year, even if they do somehow get a big man they still wouldnt have what it takes to compete with the big 4 in the west.

taking walker was a steal from boston. i would have done the same thing in a heart beat. but basically they got best backing up nash when van exel was better at it. all the moves were smart ones, but not neccessary. they traded a small guy for a big, younger guy. they got rid of lafrenz for walker. and what is raef doing right now. NOTHING.

They did fine with Dirk/Finely/Nash as their big 3 last year and then they had a guy like Van Exel to do the dirty work. But they traded Van Exel away for Jamison which is good because he is a guy who can do the dirty work just like Van Exel and he is younger and he can play the post somewhat decent. The trade for Walker was terrible because all Cuban wants to do is trade for all the "talent" he can get and he doesnt realize that playing as a team is what really wins games. Walker is nothing but a "me-first" type of player and I know Raef wasnt much but he was a good role player. Last year was a lot better mix of stars and role players then this year, it seems that all Cuban is doing is putting together the most talented team which in the long run wont win you a championship. You have to have the guys who will go for the lose ball, save the ball from going out of bounds, take the charge, and everything else that role players can do for your team. The problem with having too many stars is that you wont be able to make them all happy because there is only one ball and only a limited amount of minutes that they would be able to play so that is why putting together the right amount of role players on your team will win you games. That is why I think the Walker trade was terrible.
