I don't know I think we just may see some but not many. There are about ten guys that can do it easy but arn't on the right teams. But when you think about it that is what makes this game great cause if all ten of the guys were on the right teams then those teams would rule.

That is a pretty bold statement. Glavine is about 50 games away, and if he has some good years (Mets are improving into a good team), he could get it.
Congratulations Maddux! He didn't and doesn't have overpowering stuff like Clemens or Johnson, but he can hit the catchers glove whenever the hell he wants. He has been a joy to watch, and he has the best control that I personally seen.
Note: Couple hundred strike-outs away from 3,000. Pretty sure he will get it, assuming he doesn't retire next year.

I dont know, Glavine is 38 years old and would have to play another 3-4 years at least and would have to win at least 12-15 games a year. I dont know if he will be able to pitch that long of stay without injury.

ESPN gave this record no attention...Sad.

There were a few articles about it when it happened about his record and one on that there might not be another one for a long time or ever.
