The Brewers were within a half game in early July.

The Brewers were within a half game in early July. Early July means nothing. Where are they now?? A good deal below .500.

Astros win their 11th consecutive. Beat the Reds 9-7. Now just 1/2 game back, after the cubs lose in the 12th.

Good thing the Cubs don't have to play the Cards and the Astros still have 6 games left with them

God thing the Cubs don't have to play the Cards and the Astros still have 6 games left with them As I have stated before, I pity the Cards for having to play 6 games with us. Houston will go at least 4-2 in those 2 series.

Unfortunatly the Astros were unable to pull out a 13th win in a row. However today was a double header for Houston and the Astros won game 2 by a score of 9-2.
