Why no love for LeBron?

He gets too much hype. There is NO ONE ELSE on his team that is a scorer. The Cavs say "Here LeBron shoot 30 times tonight". LeBron is good but he's no all-star yet.

LeBron is good but he's no all-star yet. i'm am on the verge of filling this board with a million f-bombs, i am so tired of people saying he gets too much f****** hype, forget that he is a rookie, forget that he is really hyped, but remember this, he is averaging 21 points 6 rebounds and 6 assists, that's a career year for most ALL STARS!!! and he's just getting started, don't tell me he's too hyped, he has exceeded EVERYONE'S expectations and then some, I CANNOT BELIVE HE DIDN'T MAKE IT

I can't belive that P-Double is the one people feel didn't deserve it.. He has ZERO HELP on the C's and they are still somehow in the playoff mix. This and the fact that he is average 23 points, 7 boards, and 5.5 assists per contest!

Yeah I agree with CheesyChaz, I dont get why you guys think LeBron is way overhyped. 21 PPG, 6 APG, and 6 RPG says a lot about the kid. He is 19 and is already putting up numbers that a lot of guys cant do in their entire career. How is he overhyped? He gets a lot of attention true, but isnt that what all the players get? He is definetly proving to people that he is worthy of the attention and the hype and he has the numbers to prove it, and now that Ricky Davis is out of that team the Cavs are an above .500 ball club. Look for Boozer and James to be one of the top duos next year in the NBA.

The Cavs have an amazing young nuclues- LeBron, Boozer, Wagner and Diop showed they can be good if developed into full time starters. I also agree wit Cheesy, I hated LeBron at beg. of season cuz so much hype but he did SO much more then I thought he would, hes ganna average a triple double in a few years, just watch.

you're right, i forgot about all of their other great young players, once wagner gets more mature with his game he can really help the cavs greatly

In three years Diop has proven he can block shots. Thats about all. A wasted pick. Just like Dajuan Wagner was.
LeBron got shafted because he is a rookie and many guys were turned off because he doesn't play a lick of defense. LeBron will probably play in 10 All-Star games so it's alright.

He's proven he can only block shots because he doesn't get enough time to prove his other areas. When he gets good minutes he gets tons of rebounds, scores a good amount, and gets some nice blocks. Same with Wagner, last year when he started this 1st half of the season he was averagin like 20 ppg, then they benched him? Same with this year when he gets good minutes he goes in and scores, but the problem is, is that they play him like 10 mpg.
