The best team in the league is the Wolves. This team now host's the deepest roster in the league. With Olowokhandi, KG, Spree, Hassell and Cassell starting and Wally, Hudson, Big O, Ervin Johnson, Hoiberg, Madsen and Gary Trent all coming off the bench this team is in my mind by far the best team in the league. They are going to have to prove it on Sunday against a hot and healthy Spurs team. Who do you guys think the best team is?

Kings... You do forget they have the best record and is missing there best player right? They have Bobby Jackson comin off the bench who wuld start on most teams. Vlade or Miller will come off bench when Webber comes back, Miller made all-star game, Vlade is the best passing Center in the NBA. Gerald Wallace can provide a nice spark. They have tons of talent, just dont feel like namin it.

Jackson is on the injured list, oh no! Kings are a good team but I think that in the end the Wolves will get the #1 seed for the playoffs. Now I am not sure who is going to become the winner out of the west I would have to see what all of the rosters look like right before playoff time. If the Lakers are at full strength they are going to be very tough to beat with all of that experience on that squad, 4 veteran superstars who have all been to the 'ship at least once, and if the Kings and Wolves are at full strength then those two will be very tough to stop. Spurs should have gotten a scorer before the deadline because no they dont have a shot to defend there title, Duncan will know how it has been like for KG the past 7 years the Spurs wont be getting out of the first round this year its between the Lakers, Kings and Wolves it should be very fun to see who comes out victorious.

The Kings are the best team...Wolves have Spree/Sam/KG/Hudson....Olowokandi is no better then Brad Miller or Vlade Divac. The Wolves are good but they have injury problems too...With Bibby/Doug/Peja/Webber/Miller/Divac/Jackson they have jelled into the best team in the league.
The Wolves bench is a joke. Hudson and who? Hoiberg and Johnson? Those guys are scrubs....Trent and Madsen? Almost every team has players as good as them on the bench your just biased.

Thank you... Bench helps you in the playoffs so much. If you wanna win you can't just count on ur stars you need people to step up. Kings starters are as good or better then the Wolves and there bench is so much better. Kings best player isnt as good as the Wolves, but 1 player isnt ganna win it all. MJ woulda never won so many rings without Pippen ect...

Alright you guys listen up, the Wolves may not have a great bench but who says you need a great bench to win a championship. Did the Spurs have a great bench last year? Nope. Did the Lakers have a great bench while winning their 3 peat? Nope. Did the Bulls have a great bench when they had their two 3 peats? Nope. The point is that you dont need a great bench or a really deep roster to win in the playoffs. The Kings and the Mavs had very deep rosters last year and did that get them a ring? Nope. All you need is players who know how to win and if you have that then your team will go places, just dont be saying that "you need a deep bench to win" because in reality you dont. You just need role players who can come in and get the job done, that's all.

With Minnesota you have a huge playoff success rate of 7 times in a row with a 1st round exit....The Kings just have better players and more of them with the best coach in the NBA.

KG/ Spree isn't close to MJ/ Pippen, Shaq/ Kobe, TD/ Robinson. If those teams didn't win who were the teams that woulda came from the West? A team with depth. Superstars carry a team, but depth is always just as good if you have a combo of both.

Its not just KG/Spree? Its KG/Spree/Cassell/Wally/Hudson/Olowokhandi. The list goes on and on, the point is that this years Wolves team is a lot different then years past and they have proven veterens who have been deep into the playoffs and so now there will be a lot more leadership this year then there was in years past. All I am saying is dont count out the Wolves, that's all.

Im sayin u think you dont need a bench, yeah when you have MJ/ Pippen and those others I said you dont need as much depth. Wolves need depth to keep up with the other teams.

LOL. How do the Wolves NOT have depth? Who besides the Kings has a better 12 man roster in the league? Spurs? No. Mavs? No. Lakers? No. The Wolves have the perfect amount of depth, they dont have a bunch of 'me first' guys like the Mavs. They have 4 or 5 guys who can take over the game at any point. They have one of the best starting 5 in the game with Olowokhandi at center, KG at power forward, Wally at small forward, Spree at shooting guard and Cassell at point guard. And they have good role players and bench players like Hudson (instant offense), Hassell (defense), Hoiberg (3 point shooting), Trent (strength downlow), Oliver Miller (good passing skills for a big man), Ervin Johnson (veteran leadership and defense), and Madsen (brings a lot of hustle and intensity, good offensive rebounder). So please tell me how this team is not deep?

They have a top starting 5 yes. Bench is weak outside of Hudson compared to other teams. Hassell and Hoidberg will make it in the East but thats weak in the West in crunch time.

As much as it pains me to say this... Mark Madsen is a decent player off the bench. Hudson can shoot and get spot minutes. Hoiberg can shoot. Hassel can D up. Ervin Johnson is a leader and can grab a few rebounds. Miller is a decent presence down low. This team could do some damage.
Call me crazy, but I think the Pacers if they make it to the Finals, have about a 1 in 5 chance of winning it. They are on of the few teams at the top of the standings that can play defense.
Artest is a huge missing piece though...
