I still don't think the Lakers will have enough to make it a long ways into the playoffs this year. I would if they didnt even make the playoffs.

Boston is so stupid... Lakers are rebuilding which is smart. Actually, Danny Ainge is doing a good job. He is getting so much shit for making good moves. He made 3 great first round picks, especially Al Jefferson. This kid will probably start right away. Al Jefferson was a steal for Boston. Best pick in the draft. Payton didn't fit in LA with that damn triangle offense. He is a baby, I was tired of hearing him complain about not touching the ball enough. It is pathetic, he will fit better in Boston. Also hearing, Ricky Davis, Yogi Stewart ($5,000,000 off the books in the summer) and filler/picks for Shareef Abdur Rahim. That makes: PG: Gary Payton SG: Paul Pierce SF: Jiri Welsch PF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim C: Mark Blount Solid team, and Jefferson can come off the bench and get some points.

Best thing for Bostont would be for them to have a bad season and get a good lottery pick next year so they could start rebuilding.

Thats what the Lakers are doing too with getting rid of some of their vetrens and getting some young talent to rebuild but its going to take some different players than what they are going to have for the coming season to be a top team again.

Marcus Banks is going to be a dominant defender, but he has no clue on running a team. Gary Payton is no better then Rafer Alston, Rick Fox is done, Chris Mihm, eh. Spare parts for Spare parts.
