Will the way the league looks there almost no doubt. New Jersey is out, Dallas is out, and the Lakers out, the East wins again because they added more talent and the competion got worse.

Who besides the Spurs are good enough to compete? I think you have to at least consider the Pacers. Detroit beat us handedly last year, but this year with the addition of Stephen Jackson and Jermaine Oneal and Jammal Tinsley healthy come playoff time, things could be different. The Pistons are a great team, but in a years time a lot can happen.

Again, manhandled. I can't stand homers. Jermaine O'Neal is Jermaine O'Neal. You have Jamaal Tinsley who has not improved since being drafted, you have Reggie Miller who can't do anything effectivly, you have Ron Artest who played like shit in the playoff's, you have Fred Jones who can only dunk the ball, you have Jon Bender who hasn't developed at all, then you loose Al Harrington and you think they can compete with the Detroit Pistons? Give me a break.

I don't think any one team in Basketball can beat the Pistons. The league has changed this off-season like almost no other in history. With the Nets completly ruined you have to rule out any team in the east, mabye the Pacers but losing Al Harrington hurts big time.

Thats a pretty bold statement since it is still over two months till the season even starts and if one of the big players for pistons gets hurt it could turn a whole season around.

Give me a break. First of all, there are no guarantees in the NBA. That is why you don't see me on here saying the Pacers are going to win it all blah blah blah. I said it was possible that they could compete with the Pistons, that's all . I never said Detroit wouldn't win. Second of all you are probably one of the same people who before last season when the Lakers got Payton and Malone were on a message board somewhere swearing there was no way they could lose. Well newsflash... it didn't happen did it? The thing is one injury to Rasheed Wallace or Rip Hamilton and the Pistons aren't that great either. If you had all the sports knowledge in the world, you wouldn't be moderating this board everyday so let's just wait and see what happens.
