Ok what I am going to do is do a draft and then sim tons of seasons and see how well I can do over like 50 seasons as a GM... At end of the season i'll post my team records, player stats, and MVP stuff. I will have injuries on so its more realistic and I have DH rule throughout the MLB. I don't have the budget thing because MLB doesn't have a cap, but i'm ganna be realistic about signing players. I'm not ganna go out and sign every good FA. I hope you guys follow this, i've always wanted to do this... I'm ganna try and keep a winning team and create the next MLB dynasty.

Ok, I had an amazing draft... I'll do my 1st few rounds.
1- Albert Pujols 2- Mark Prior 3- Carlos Delgado (no one was near his rating so used for trade bait) 4- Dontrelle Willis 5- C.C. Sabathia 6- Hank Blalock (no idea how he lasted that long) 7- Mark Teixeria Then my next few picks were trade bait players. A few consist of LF-Matsui, CF-Pierre, SP-Byrd.
Here are the trades I did to make my roster a lil better. Traded Delgado and some AAA mediocre player for Zito. Traded Matsui, Byrd, and a AAA SP for Brandon Webb. Traded Pierre and my top AAA SP Sun-Woo Kim for Jose Reyes.
Next post i'll do my player positions for my MLB, AAA, and AA teams.

My teams are all pretty damn good, but I assure you I didn't do any cheating by trading players or anything like that... I just had an insane draft... When I was drafting it I was like flippin out cause these players dropped so freakin far.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Starting Pitchers 1 SP- Barry Zito 2 SP- Mark Prior 3 SP- Brandon Webb 4 SP- Dontrelle Willis 5 SP- C.C. Sabathia
Relief Pitchers LRP- Jose Valverde LRP- Oscar Villarreal LRP- Anthony Ferrari MRP- Shawn Chacon SU-Paul Quantrill CP- Jesus Colome
Overall- I have a great starting staff, but the pen is laughable...
Field Players C- Juan Berroa 1B- Mark Teixera 2B- Chase Utley SS- Jose Reyes 3B- Hank Blalock LF- Albert Pujols CF- Rocco Baldelli RF- Carl Crawford, originally plays LF DH- Coco Crisp, CF
Overall- I have some great players and some people who wouldn't start on the Expos so... parts of the lineup will be iffy.
AAA Durham Bulls
Starting Pitchers 1 SP- Dewon Brazelton 2 SP- Doug Waetcher 3 SP- Seth McClung (all 3 so far DRays pitchers) 4 SP- Jason Phillips (went to my HS, another kid in minors that went to my HS is batting like .290 in DRays A, drafted in Round 12 in 2003. (Chad Cooper) His bro will be drafted too prolly pretty high when he declares he's like a Soph in college or sumthin like that. 5 SP- Kirk Saarloos
Relief Pitchers LRP- Shingo Okamoto LRP- Richie Ricon MRP- Ryan Wagner SU-David Fitzgerald CP- Chad Cordero
Overall- The AAA pitching looks pretty superb, a few of those guys would be in majors but sent down because of the great starters we have in the majors...
Field Players C- Luis Baisley 1B- Rendy Borland 2B- Rickie Weeks (I know you will like that Brew fans) SS- Domingo Acosta 3B- Hank McKinley LF- Matt Bellhorn CF- Wily Mo Pena RF- David DeJesus DH- Hiroshi Yamaguchi, RF
Overall- Some of those players shouldn't be in AAA, but some of them shoud be in the majors so...
AA Montgomery Biscuits
Starting Pitchers 1 SP- Salomon Torres (he shuld dominate AA) 2 SP- Ole Uttuslien 3 SP- Jimmy Hamilton 4 SP- Luis Fabregas 5 SP- Shane Lundquist
Relief Pitchers LRP- Rodney Kelton LRP- J.M. Lofton MRP- Erasmo Valdez SU- Ellis Burroughs CL-Xavier Reyes
Overall- For being in AA that is a pretty good overall pitching team...
Field Players C- Jorge Cardona 1B- Andy Bako 2B- Angel Blanco SS- Dieter Plitz 3B- Drew Johson LF- Greg Magolan CF- Dee Jay Randall RF- Jimmy Castilla DH- Jason Basi, 1B
Overall- Start of lineup is good but after the 5th guy it goes way downhill.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Starting Pitchers 1 SP- Barry Zito- 17-8- 2.94 ERA, 201 K's, 1.29 WHIP 2 SP- Mark Prior- 18,7- 2.83, 230 K's, 1.22 WHIP 3 SP- Brandon Webb- 12-9, 3.87 ERA, 208 K's, 1.33 WHIP 4 SP- Dontrelle Willis- 19-5, 2.92 ERA, 153 K's, 1.24 WHIP 5 SP- C.C. Sabathia- 8-12, 5.35 ERA, 106 K's, 1.69
C.C. and Dontrelle fought through some injuries during the season. It slowed down C.C. a lot, but didn't seem to effect Dontrelle's play.
Relieve Pitchers MRP- Cory Vance- 84 innings, 13-1, 3.86 ERA MRP- Shawn Chacon- 82 innings, 10-1, 2.63 ERA MRP- Anthony Ferrari- 61.1 innings, 6-4, 5.28 ERA CL- Jesus Colome- 55 innings, 1-2, 1.47 ERA, 49 saves
Those are my only relievers that got much of any action. Next highest innings for a reliever was like 25.
Field Players C- Juan Berroa- .246, 4 HR's, 46 RBI's, .649 (OPS, On base + slugging) 1B- Mark Teixera- .281, 38 HR's, 95 RBI's, .857 2B- Chase Utley- .257, 14 HR's, 83 RBI's, .733 SS- Jose Reyes- .286, 29 HR's, 102 RBI's, .812 3B- Hank Blalock- .297, 35 HR's, 85 RBI's, .883 LF- Albert Pujols- .329, 55 HR's, 147 RBI's, 1.065 (Team MVP) CF- Rocco Baldelli- .271, 21 HR's, 77 RBI's, .773 RF- Carl Crawford- .264, 6 HR's, 43 RBI's, .668
Berroa missed like 1/4 of the games in the season and Utley missed some, but not near as much as Berroa. Utley for how late I got him turned out to be a huge steal for me. He played great.
bAAA Durham Bulls[/b]
Pitchers 1 SP- Dewon Brazelton- 12-4, 1.64 ERA (Team MVP) 2 SP- Doug Waetcher- 9-11, 3.02 ERA 3 SP- Seth McClung- 10-10, 2.59 ERA 4 SP- Jason Phillips- 13-7, 2.07 ERA 5 SP- Kirk Saarloos- 13-6, 3.88 ERA MRP- Danny Fitzgerald- 134 innings, 7-12, 5.04 ERA SU- Ryan Wagner- 143.2 innings, 8-8, 2.32 ERA CL- Chad Cordero- 52.2 innings, 1-5, 2.05 ERA, 31 saves
Dewon and Waetcher went to the majors a few times when injuries hit.
Hitters C- Luis Baisley- .256, 10 HR's, 45 RBI's 1B- Rendy Borland- .245, 15 HR's, 60 RBI's 2B- Rickie Weeks- .257, 15 HR's, 52 RBI's SS- Domingo Acosta- .250, 4 HR's, 20 RBI's 3B- Sean Burroughs- .285, 16 HR's, 66 RBI's LF- Matt Bellhorn- .255, 12, HR's, 48 RBI's CF- Wily Mo Pena- .277, 18, HR's, 74 RBI's RF- David DeJesus- .274, 15 HR's, 69 RBI's
Baisley and Acosta spent some time up in the majors when injuries occured.
AA Montgomery Biscuits Team MVP's- Salomon Torres- 13-2, 1.33 ERA, 0.98 WHIP Hiroshi Sakai- 11-3, 1.69 ERA, 0.89 WHIP Deiter Plitz- .276, 22 HR's, 96 RBI's
I just did MVP's because Torres is the only real player on this team and all the stats sucked besides these 3 guys. Torres would have gotten MVP instead of Co, but he was sent to AAA a few times while players went to the majors and that hurt his numbers.

Ahh... I knew I was forgetting something. Thanks.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays- 112-50, 26 game division lead
Durham Bulls- 75- 69, 3 game division lead (they made a huge comeback to barely make playoffs... once 15 games back now look to be a top team)
Montgomery Biscuits- 1st Half, 46-24, 7 game division lead 2nd Half, 40-30, 2 games back for division lead Overall- 86- 54, 11 game division lead because team that beat me in the 2nd half of season was 13 back in 1st half and team that was 7 back in 1st half was 9 behind me in 2nd.
All 3 of my teams made the playoffs. Tampa and Durham looking very strong going in, while Montgomery has been playing very sloppy lately.

Montgomery lost in the 1st round in a best of 5 series in game 4. The GRE Braves that beat them eventually won by beating the Red Barons in 5.
Durhman lost in the finals in game 5. It was a 0-0 game going into the 8th and in the bottom part PAW Red Sox scored 3 runs and eventually won 3-0.
Tampa Bay looked like certain doom in the AL Finals vs the Royals down 3-0, but Zito and Prior have back to back great starts. Then Dontrelle pitched a no decision and won by 2. C.C. then pitched a complete game and won 2-1. They play the winner of the Expos and Brewers game 7. The Brewers eventually won and are going against the favored Devil Rays. Both teams won there 1st, 2 home games. Then both won at there away fields. Final game was at Tampa and Tampa won in 13 innings by a Albert Pujols solo shot.
MLB Champs- Tampa Bay Devil Rays- 112-50 regular season record, 11-6 playoff record MVP- Barry Zito- 3-0, 1.72 ERA, .174 opp. average
AAA Governors' Cup Champs- Pawtuckett Red Sox- 86-60, 6-2
AAA Pacific Coast League Champs- Memphis Redbirds- 78-66, 6-3
AA Southern League Champs- Braves- 75-65, 6-3
AA Texas League Champs- Rockhounds- 74-66, 7-5
