YES!!! The Cavs were my 2nd fav team and when everyone started liking them because of LeBron it pissed me off because I was like no way will he live up to what everyone is saying... Well he proved me wrong big time... Also, its not that I was pissed people liked the Cavs, but the fact that half the people that started to like them because of LeBron were lucky to name 2 other players on the team.

how can you even ask that question. coming out he was projected to score 12-13 points and 4 rebounds and 4 assists. straight from high school he put up 20 5 and 5. i know you need to keep adding questions but be more creative. yes he is worth the hype times 10.

This question has been asked in every country in the New World at least 50 in each forum. Great, LeBron lived up to the hype. The guy also can't play defense worth shit, and can do whatever he want's with the ball.
This is where Melo' comes close to evening out the field, he played very good defense in the Olympics and playoffs, and works without the ball. That sets them two at the same level.
Carmelo' surpassed the hype he got. Lets talk about that.

How do you figure? The guy is 6'8" 240, and covering players that are smaller than him by a mile. The only thing he has on other points around the league is he'll block shots.
Its like your saying he has potential on defense.

Height is overated now then what it use to be. There are people who can get up higher then a person a foot taller then them. Unless you box out height isn't as important as lankyness and jumping ability and now in the non fundamental league excluding the international players no one boxes out so height I don't think is as important. Ben Wallace can dominate people 5 inches taller then him. Yes it gives you and advantage, but could LeBron cover Boykins? No, that's why LeBron is more of a 2 guard and just brings the ball up when he gets it. I like how they use him, he isn't a full time point and doesn't cover the PG a lot, but uses his PG abilities at times by playing PG. Ecspecially since they have a legit starting PG I like how he isn't selfish and demands to be the PG 100% of the time like some players do who are less of a PG then him.

Height may not always mean alot, but it causes mismatches elsewhere on the court. With Lebron, Diop, Newble, Gooden, and Z on the court...a point would be forced to cover LeBron.

When does Diop play over McInnis? Also so Gooden plays SF and Newble SG?

At first I thought this was a post from last summer before Lebron played a game. I agree with star5, new questions! This would have been a great discussion if it were last summer after the draft!
