I personally don't want an MVP who I can shoot better FT's then. Shaq will prolly hurt his toe and cry half the season. I don't think MIA will win 1 game this season with Shaq out. They lost like 70% of there scoring from last year to get him if he goes down don't expect 1 win.

The Heat are very overrated. They have nothing talent wise other then Wade/Shaq/Dorell.

If Shaq would tear his ACL in preseason I seriously would say Miami Heat would finish 0-82...

now thats not correct, they would go 1-81, they might steal one from the bobcats , that's a good point though, if shaq gets injured then the heat are absolutely screwed, i think they were better off with the young nucleus that they had with odom and butler

Shaq's contract is also rediculous.

Call me a homer, but I think it will be Dirk Nowitzki, and heres why:
Dallas no longer has Nash, which means Dirk will be forced to play more post and get more easy buckets.
With Dampier guarding his back now, Dirk's defense will improve dramatically.
Dirk can now play at PF full time since the Antoines are gone.
He is the most versatile player in the game, he shoots the 3 as good as anyone and can also drive to the hoop or play the post.
I predict a 28 PPG, 10 Reb, 2 Block season for Dirk

And Garnett could put up 25/6/14/3

No doubt, Garnett as a player is better than Dirk, but KG as E.T. and Spree on his team, both capable of averaging 20 PPG. Dirk and Terry are the only proven big scorers on Dallas (Finley not so much so because he is older and is just a jump shooter now). I think Dirk will get more shots and more oppotunities for those MVP numbers because KG has to spread it around more. Now, this could all change if Jo-Ho and Marquis become prolific scorers.

Garnett could put up 30ppg but passes. He put up awesome numbers with Spree/Cassell and I don't see why he won't again.
Dirk will have another awesome season but you lost the Twans but now you have Stackhouse and Terry some big gunners as well. I don't see Dirk having that huge of a point difference because it's still the same team. The Mav's are going to miss Nash thats for sure.
