Elway cried when he was drafted cause he didn't wanna be on that team... I hate him he will always be known to me as " cry baby Elway " . Montana kinda led his team to a few SB's too.

montana had by far the worst release. only thing he could do was put the ball were it had a chance of maybe being caught. yeah he did win the big game but not in the way aikman won his SBs

Montana played alot like Tom Brady. He was great at running the dink and dunk offens filled with 5-yard patterns. However, his armstrength was not an asset. He was great at running his offense, but would be an unknown if he played for Miami's offense as he did not have the talent to do what Marino did. Manning has a chance at beating some of Marino's career numbers, but I wonder if anyone will ever surpass his single-season numbers.

Favre plays when he's injured. Who owns the record for most consecuative starts for a QB? Oh yeah Favre Favre has got to be the best leader in the huddle of all time. Put asside the plentiful INT's and he'd be the best QB of all time. And I suppose that his pain killers had nothing to do with the streak? That streak will forever be tarnished. My pick would be Montana. If you go by completed passes, he avg. 11.9 yards per pass. per att. it was 7.5. no where is that anywhere near the 5 yard dump offs. 63% completion rate and a 92.3 arreer QB rating. Only had 1 year with more ints than tds. And hes been to the Dance....a few times.

The 5 yard slant patterns to Jerry Rice and John Taylor often went for 80 yards. I bet if you took yards after the catch from Montana's numbers, his numbers would not be so impressive. It was a dink and dunk offense. I am not slamming him; he is the best ever at running the offense. All I am saying is that comparing him to Marino is like comparing apples to oranges. Two totally different styles.

Just everyone shut up. Favre is overrated, throws to many pick's and blew or playoff chances with that stupid pass not even looking at Javon Walker. I can't stand Favre, when we win he gets praised when he blows the playoff's like he did this season or any other time Sherman gets the blame and it's unfair. Even though I hate Sherman.

He's not overrated at all....he has 350 TD passes he cant be that overrated, won a super bowl, and yes he makes dumb mistakes, but that game shoulda been won in regulation anyways

I still say Favre is the best QB of all time.

What about Johnny Unitas! They say almost all the modern quarterbacks are modeled after him. I've seen old NFL films and the guy looked like a badass! I wish I could have seen him play!
I would put Marino ahaed of Elway becasue Marino never had a respectable running game to complement the passing attack like Elway did especially at the end of their careers!

What injuries? A thumb and an Ankle? Favre always has had a good offensive line and has been lucky, he's nothing close to Steve McNair.
Montana is the best.

jesse- he hasnt had a reciever worth anything since antonio freeman in 99
3 CONSECUTIVE mvp awards
a superbowl ring
and numbers approaching marinos
how the hell is that overrated? if he is throwing almost 2 tds a game(which he basically did last year and every year) i can live with the interceptions that occasionally creep in
he has my vote for the best qb ever, although had the bills won just one superbowl jim kelly would have to be in the conversation
