This seems to be one of the most wide open conferences. There isn't one team that everyone thinks is going to win. Marquette, Louisville, and Cincy all have an equal chance. Charlotte and Memphis have an outside chance but it's most likely one of those three. I'm going with Marquette because Diener is the best player in the conference, has the most experience, and will lead Marquette to the title.

I think Louisville is the best team in the conference, but Marquette will win the conference.

UC all the way. Their press has been wearing teams down all year and causing all sorts of turnovers. Field Williams and Tony Bobbit have found consistency from the 3point line, Chad Moore is starting to look like a great PG, and Kareem Johnson is suddenly good.
I think what gives UC their advantage is their size. They can put Armein Kirkland (6'8") at PG, James White (6'7") at SG, Eric Hicks (6'7") at SF, Maxiell (6'8") at PF, and Whaley (6'10") at C. While the frontline is not incredibly big, a backcourt that size will cause some serious headaches.
They play 10 deep so if 1 or 2 players get hurt and are out for the year, they still have a decent rotation.

Cincy is good but I just don't see a team with Jason Maxiell as their go to go guy winning the conference. 1.Marquette 2.Cincy 3.Louisville

James White is one of the funnest people to watch in college, but he doesn't get that great amazing minutes only like 15-20 a game.

He might still be the "go to guy", but he doesn't put the whole offense on his shoulders. If there is no shot, he'll pass it away. Last year he was forcing up shots, even when he was doubled teamed. To be honest, I don't think UC has a go to guy, which might hurt them a little down the stretch, but Field Williams is gonna hurt some teams this year. He has finally learned to drive to the basket. The first time he did that, I nearly crapped myself.

Louisville. If they play as well as they did against Florida all season they will go a long way.

Yeah, but thats like saying if Louisiana-Lafeyette plays like they did against Arizona every game they might win march madness. Teams always have bad games.

I think Louisville is the best team in the conference, but Marquette will win the conference. Marquette doesn't have a chance. This conf title is between Cincinnati and Louisville only. If Cincy played Sacred Heart, they would've pounded them by 30 and people would be complaining that Cincy never plays anybody.

Marquette's only loses are @ Arizona and @ Wisconsin two very tough places to play.

Just wait until Marquette's @ The Shoe - then you will know tough places to play. As Dayton's coach put it after visiting The Shoe, "I don't think too many people are going to come in here and win."

Yeah, Cincy is tough at home. they showed that to my team last year. but i wouldn't say that the cusa championship is only between UC and UL. Marquette could do something i guess. didn't uab almost make a run at the cusa tourney championship last year? its possible
