Definatly LeBron
-Better Passer -Better Court Vision -Stronger -Better Athlete -Better Speed
I just see Glenn Robinson, a good scorer, decent rebounder but doesn't make his team better. I don't think Carmelo has half as much potential as LeBron....If he was that good Detroit would have picked him second....

We needed a big guy and that is why we got Milicic.

You got Ben Wallace/Mahmet Okur/Elden Campbell/ Rebraca and you need another big guy?....I'm not sold on Tayshaun Prince being anything but a average SF....
Cleveland didnt need another SG but tey drafted James....Detroit loved Milicec and I would have drafted him over Carmelo anyday.

Okur,Campbell and Rebraca do not have the skill. We are hoping that we can develop Milicec into a big tough Center who can guard anyone in the league.

Melo
-much better post player -does more in less time (Bron averages 40.5 mpg, Melo 34.8 mpg) -Better all around scorer -Solid rebounder -Knows what it takes to win more than Lebron right now (is a winner)

In one season, put him Syracuse for 4 years then we see....Sure they won the title but that doesn't mean that much now....Duke won the title but you don't see Battier/Dixon teaching there teams....Because it doesn't matter...It has to do with maturity, and being a team player.

If Melo would have stayed Syracuse would have been unstopable this year in college, as almost everyone is back there again. All i know is the Nuggets won 17 games last year, and yes they are a much different team this year with a lot of new players, but look at some of the teams they have played and beat. Melo is a winner, while Bron is very talented and is on a very talented team that doesn't do jack. I mean Ricky Davis, Darius Miles, Bron, Illgauskas, Wagner, and they have a good coach in Silas?

Buffs made a good point about the minutes per game. Carmelo put up near the same stats in college that Lebron did while dunking over 6'7" Centers. Another good point was made, if Carmelo did stay, Syracuse would pretty much dominate.
Lebron still makes alot of turnovers I do believe, and isn't that great of a shooter. He makes up for it with great passing and awareness. The first time I saw Lebron dissed on TV is when ESPN counted the number of times that Lebron didnt hussle back on defense and was caught watching the ball. Im not sure what the number was, but obviously it was alot to be dissing "King James"
Carmelo shoots too much, just like Glenn Robinson. Is kind of on the short side of playing small forward(just like Robinson) and isnt much of a passer(like Robinson).

How can anyone say Carmelo is more of a winner than LeBron? Because he won an NCAA Championship?
In that case, Juan Dixon and Steve Blake are both winners and Ben Wallace, Shawn Marion and Jason Kidd.
Juan and Blake won NCAA Championships?
Are they better than Amare, KG, Jermaine and Rashard?
Bullshit.
Carmelo is no more of a winner than LeBron.

I thought LeBron would average like 12-5-5 but he is really amazing me I think he will be a better pro then Carmelo. Thus making my ROTY prediction wrong.

Bron is playing heavy minutes, Carmelo gets his stats in 6 less minutes...I just like LeBron's all-around game and how mature he is...

Other than Bron, the rookie who's impressed me the most is Chris Bosh. I expected him to be total shit, but he's showed off jumpshot range, clutch ability and did anyone see him posterize Theo Ratliff last night?
HOLY SH-T
