That is probably why she isn't on much anymore. That also opens up a new theory of what happened at Waco. Oh no, guess we better not go there.

i think that fans should have something to do with the voting for these awards....i know bias would be huge but it would be nice to have some say in things like these

I'm sorry, but Rashad Mcant's is not one of the best players in the country. He has tremendous talent, and is maybe the best scorer in the country, but in the long run he hurts his team in so many ways.
He doesn't play defense AT ALL.
He isn't a team player- the only way he can score is when he has the ball in a one on one situation. When Mcants has the ball, Carolina's offense stops, and there is no movement or anything. If this were the NBA, he would be great, but it is college basketball, and you have to play as a team if you want to win. You never see Mcants create offense for his teamates.
He also has a really bad attitude, and that hurts team chemistry. A team that doesn't play together will not win, no matter how talented they are. Case in point- just look at the last two years of Carolina basketball. With the talent they have, there's no reason for them being so bad.

Wow, a UConn fan agrees with a Duke fan on something. Naturally, it is how overrated a UNC player is. How can McCants be considered the favorite for player of the year? My top four candidates are returning All-Americans Ryan Gomes and Lawrence Roberts, plus Wayne Simien and Chris Paul.

Simien is the only one of the listed players that has had a big injury. That has got to scare you.

first... scifi is crazy to think that Simien isn't the best player on KU. Giddens I think will have a great year, but he's not as good, nor as important, as Simien.
Simien has been hurt the last 2 years, last year with his groin and the year before with his shoulder, but if he stays completely healthy this year he has to be considered one of the 2 or 3 front runners for POY
