Strong, solid team. Good recruiting year, but will be chasing Alabama and Miss. St. for the west title. Arkansas could be a sleeper as well. They did land the best recruit for '05, so LSU should be good for the next 2 to 3 years, barring injury.

As I recall our best player last year got hurt, and then quit the team when we tried to bring him back.

I know they lost to Houston last year and they were probably the worst team in all of D-1 last year....doesn't say to much about LSU. LSU pretty much fell off the basketball map after Shaq left. and what is with the stupid phrase: 'GEAUX Tigers'....remember cajun french folks....this is america. You must assimilate....drop the damn french already!

(And anyone can beat Nebraska in basketball.) They aren't the best team in the world, but worst in D1? A little over the top, my friend. They played better team ball after Shaq left and before he got there, by the way. Same will happen in Miami.

Word: You mis-understood what I was saying. I was saying Houston was the worst d-1 program in bball last year and LSU happened to lose to them early. That is why they did not get into the NCAA tourney...losing to the worst team in America should burst your bubble, IMO.

We came back and nearly won it, but fell apart at the end.

First off.....I hate France as much as anyone in this country. Damn Frenchies. Second.....I'm sorry I ever thought of showing a little school spirit. Please forgive me. Third.....My family has been going to LSU for several generations. My Great grandfather played on the 1908 LSU football team that was the best in the country. My grandmother, grandfather, father, uncle, another uncle, an aunt, and about ten cousins have all attended LSU. I have already applied there and will almost certainly be accepted. by the way.......Geaux Tigers.

I am still curious if anyone here knows anything. I am more of a football person, and I don't know quite as much about LSU basketball. Anyway, I am just curious.

Yes you did. It was your revenge for the Sugar Bowl. We were not all that great last year. I think you beat us pretty easily. This year we should be better.
