hmmm... thats a tough question, Mike Stoops might have been the best last year but im not sure about this year, i dont know too many assistant coaches outside of Oklahoma

Yeah, i figured it'd be a tough one.
Of course, i'm gonna plug my guy. Maryland's defensive coordinator Gary Blackney has made the terps defense one of the 10 best in the nation the past 2 years, and 20 the year before. He's also the winningest coach in Bowling Green history.
Norm Chow, the offensive coordinator at USC deserves some mention as well.

maybe the defensive coordinator of LSU (whoever that is) Will Muschamp is the D-coordinator at LSU. He has been great. But Saban also does a lot of work on that side of the ball. Best home field in cfb?
