I am just curious. But based on last years records, what team(s) do you guys think are going to improve the most this year?

As much as I hate saying this (Bama being in the SEC west with LSU), I agree with you on that one. Anyone who questions it, just needs to watch the Bama vs Oklahoma game from last year. Bama could have actually won it. But of course they didn't.

While their records may not show much improvement this year, their are a couple of other teams that deserve consideration.
Texas A&M-they should be greatly improved from the OU 77 - aTm 0 team. .500 is reachable. and Vanderbilt-21 returning starters. If they can catch a few breaks they just might squeeze out enough wins to go bowling. I doubt it, but it is possible.

Vandy, Clemson, UConn, Georgia Tech, Virginia, or Cal, I'd say.

PSU, just because they were really young last year and now that talent and experience ought to make them much better than last year's 3-9 team.

I think Cal will be the most improved team.

Penn State should be greatly improved. Cal is overrated. However, Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the PAC 10, so they might prove me wrong. I doubt it, but they might. Oregon is the 2nd best in the PAC 10, not CAL. ;D ;D ;D ;D

The reason I don't say Cal is because they were a solid team last year. I think the loss of Echemandu will hurt them more than people think. They would never have beaten USC if he doesn't have like 150 yards rushing. A good running game just makes the passing game that much better.

Wait a second...no it doesn't. ;D

Cinncinati
Look for them to make some noise in CUSA
Gino Guidugli is one of the best QBs in the mid-majors.

Ok, are we basing this on last year's record? Because Clemson can only go 4 games better and UConn 3 games better (talk about your bowl snubs, when would a 3 loss ND team not go to a New Year's game?).
Vandy could easily break .500 this year, Tech might go up a couple games but still have to play UGa, and Miami, but no FSU. That will help. Cal will be first in the Pac-10 this year, and with 6 losses last year, that is a big improvement IMO.

Clemson was good last year, I think they'll be better, yet they play a more difficult schedule so the record alone might not show it (same for UConn).

Granted Clemson finished the year extremly well, but they had gotten off to a slow start. That is where the improvement comes. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
