Actually, if the season ended now.. the Hornets would have homecourt in the first round against the bucks.

If the Lakers go .500 for about a month of no Kobe, Malone, and Shaq.. I believe Phil Jackson should ATLEAST be a name in the poll!!

I believe the Spurs slump is due to inconsistant play.. Every player on the Spuds, EXCEPT Duncan, is a very streaky, inconsistant player. Ginobli, Parker, Rasho, they are all streaky.. thus the reason the Spuds can not get into a rhytum. I could be wrong, the Spuds are too boring to watch, so I only see a third of their games.

Best - (healthy Lakers) if not healthy enough Wolves
Worst - Washington Wizards / Orlando Magic.
Wizards are just horrible.. Orlando shows no signs of life, even with TMac.. It's only a matter of time, till the injury prone TMac goes down for a few weeks.. His back or ankel will go out at some point.

I'm curious.. but why is it, that you don't believe the Lakers will be at full streangth by playoff time? Do you know of some injurys that are schedualed to happen? Is Malone never gonna heal, and be a gimp for the rest of his life?? The Lakers, as long as no NEW injurys arise, will be injury free within' a month. Shaq, may be playing with soreness for the rest of his career, but tell me a season he wasn't playing hurt??

Well, in all honesty, it would be great to have just one of our 4 injured starters back!
Fox - 1 week Kobe - 1-2 weeks Shaq - 1 week maybe w (big baby!) ;D Malone 2-3 weeks
Getting these players back, I believe the Lakers can still get home court, it will be interesting.. I haven't even thought of what other team would win, if for some reason a player or two won't get back..

I disagree.. Payton is ONLY happy when he wins.. it's as simple as that.. GP was never happy, anywhere, when not winning. Ever see GP on the bench, when the Lakers are winning.. Nuff Said. I'm also sure ALL of the Mavs aren't happy losing. Kobe selfish? How's he selfish? His points are down, his assists are up.. he doesn't shoot the ball in the first quarter, simply to get the team game going. When malone and Shaq are injuried.. He has to become more selfish, cause he's the only guy on the court, other then GP, that can create a shot. Malone was very happy, until his knee blew up.. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy sittin' on your ass, not playin' ball... wait ya do Shaq? Extremely happy, it's his team.. He personally made sure that Malone and GP would join the team. Shaq has always wanted to play with a PG like GP. He's always wanted to have a PF that could take away triple and double teams. He argu's and fights with Kobe, but he is happy. I believe Kobe is also happy playing with Shaq. It's a Laker-Hater style comment, to make, about the Lakers "not being happy" That's just a cop-out. Wins = Happiness

K. Rush scored 30 points against the Kings.. He has potential, I just hate waiting for it to all come out. I am very happy with Slava too.
Payton Kobe Fox Malone O'Neil
Fisher Rush Slava Grant George
After this injury plague, I believe the Lakers bench players can be something to recon with. The injurys may just be a god send.

It's proven today, just how well Jackson can game plan, manage, and coach a team to victory. To still win, with GP, 3 rookies, and a few bench players, shows just how well Phil Jackson coaches.

"y would u complain about chemistry when dallas took sa to game 6 in the western conference finals"
If Dallas came so close, and was a Championship team, just a game or two away... why did Cuban "F" with it?? Cuban is a very smart "business" man, but as for putting a basketball team together.. his savy is crap. I can only imagine what Phil Jackson could have done with that team.. Spurs sure as hell wouldn't be champs, that's for sure..

"at least the sonics have played well against them the last couple years"
Aww yes, and that's all that counts! No need for those pesky Championship Banners cloudin' up the Arena ceilings!
