You should include NU and ND in your little report card. Although I did do some name calling it was in self defense, I was the one who was attacked first. It was not one of those "pre-emptive" strikes.

Does anyone here know if a Sunbelt team has ever been ranked? Just curious? GO TROY STATE!!!
Thats a very good question. I am not 100% sure but I dont think any of them ever have been ranked in the top 25! I know North Texas has been in the "others recieving votes" foot note a few times but I dont think any of them have cracked the poles. Most of the teams in the conference have not been Div I-A that long. It would be cool to see them get in (and I think they deserve it) but honestly I dont think they will because of their SOS. If they beat S. Carolina it would certainly help thier cause, but I think the ONLY way they can do it is by beating LSU, that would certainly do it! But I really dont see that happening, But ya never know?!

Its USC. Oregon St is the only team with a shot of beating them.

I might be a little biased, but I would have to say the MWC is the best of the Mid-majors. There are a lot of solid teams (Utah, UNM, BYU) that could compete with just about anyone. Plus Most of the Teams in the MWC are playing alot of BCS teams and not faring too bad. Anyone of those teams could win the conference. (Last year UNM...picked 5th in conference rolled in to SLC and handed the Utes like a 20 point loss. All around its a very competitive conference. Conf-USA would be second. As far as the WAC, Fresno St and Boise St are very good, no doubt, but after that there is a HUGE drop off in competiveness. All the other teams in the conference dont even compare. The MAC made some noise last year, but they might not even be as good as the Sunbelt this year and that is SCARY! Its still too early in the season to make a final determination on this, but I say the MWC will prove its the best of the MID-MAJORS by the end of the year.

The only way Army could win a football game is if they call in some artillery and shell the other team! That would be cool to watch actually!

Last years Army team 0-13 a first in college football History! 0-11 this year is a safe probability!
