He wont finish with an average any higher then .365. he's at .369 right now, there's a good chance he'll fade in the end though

do you guys think he'll be able to get the all time hits record? i think he will, this is my scientific prediction for what he'll finish with:
282 hits 709 atbats .397 batting average

he's batting .367 with 6 homeruns and 44 RBI's, 189 hits in 117 games on pace for 261 breaking the all time record, batting .486 since the all star break, .516 in august, he'd be my vote for MVP if the mariners weren't so horrible

In order to avoid their 12th consecutive losing season, the Milwaukee Brewers will have to post a 27-19 record in their final 46 games. Impossible? 12th in a row!! i didn't know it was that bad

Think of Bond's walks as singles... lol, then he'd be batting about .600

I hope he retires or they just stop pitching to this guy. It would be a shame to baseball to see him break the home run record. why is that? baseball is already in shame anyway

from espn.com
"I know that 2005 I will play. I can't tell you anything further than that," he said. "I don't have a contract for 2006. I have an option. I only go based on what I have, and what I have is 2005. I don't have 2006."

MLB lets too many people into the hall. It seems all you need to do is hit .300 for 8 seasons and hit and average of 30 homers and not win a damned thing, and they let them into the hall. It's like the NBA sending Ray Allen and Chris Webber to the hall. edgar's the greatest DH ever and has amazing character, and ray allen and chris webber have no chance at the hall so it's not the same thing

do you know how unbelievably hard that is? especially in this era where there are so many players great at only one of those categories, way too much competition for it to happen unless it's the greatest player ever

baseball games are boring as hell after a while, the only sports games i can play for a long time are basketball and football because you can do more stuff outside of playing an actual game
