I hope Urban Meyer leaves soon! But I dont think he can or will as his contract stipulates that he can only leave for either Notre Dame or Ohio State. Or Michigan, but thats a stipulation that only menas without any financial penalty. He can get out of the contract whenever he wants for any school in the nation, but those 3 schools were simply the ones that he would be allowed to leave for without having to give some money back to Utah. If someone is willing to fork over the cash to offset the losses he would have from leaving Utah, he's gone. (He might be gone anyway for that matter.)

Colorado, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Duke shouldn't fire their coaches.
Colorado has a coach that has been succesful and his team is better than i expected them to be after all the stuff during the offseason.
Duke is enormously ahead of where they have been in past years. Their team, while not good, has been able to compete with some ACC schools, though not very often.
The ACC is the worst conference to be in if you are a bottom feeder, especially with UNC coming on like they have.

Yeah, I actually had predicted both ACC upsets, not on this board of course, i didn't think either of them was extremely shocking. UNC'a a hell of lot better team than people thought (beat GT and NCState as well) they're simply extremely inconsistent (see the Utah and Louisville games.)
They are like Miami in a way then tend to play to their competition level, or at least their perceived competition level prior to the game.
The Baylor over Texas A&M was a HUGE shock to me.

Derrick McPheason, was the number 10 WR in the country coming out of high school last year. He signed with Florida but was academically ineligible. He went to a Juco school, hoping to play for Florida next year.
However, he is apparently pissed off about the Zook firing, and has opened up his options to other schools like the ones he almost went to in High School (Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Penn State). It is also worth pointing out that his older brother is a junior and starts at corner at Maryland (Gerrick McPheason).
Now this is what i've been hearing, yet I haven't seen any reports on the subjuect.
Anybody know anything?

Yeah, but no offense, but Miami fans aren't in a league with most of the teams we have been talking about.
Texas A&M, Texas, LSU, OSU, Clemson, Tennesee, Florida, Nebraske, etc. all have tens of thousands of fans who not only show up, but make a difference in the games, and they live and die with their football team.
Miami fans just aren't on that level (so you know, maryland's aren't either)

Yeah, the 12th man is big. However, Clemson, being down this year, the fans are somewhat fickle. They want some new, fresh offense, and they want Charlie to freaking achieve something. They were loud during that last drive, when Clemson won. This goes back to the GT game, where with 15 seconds to go, they stopped making noise. It has been rough since, especially the away games. We will be back. I'm waiting for the day UT and VT decide to play at Bristol Motor Speedway. 250K for a football game on the infield. That would be loud. That would be crazy, and a little wierd, since the infield+racetrack is so large the fans would be far away from the field. But that could be the start of a decent rivalry, if you go south on I-81 just a few miles past Blacksburg, you enter Volunteer country pretty quickly. Though the SEC and ACC are now the best 2 conferences i doubt either team will be likely to get another solid program on their schedule, especially since VT already plays WVU out of conference every year.

In the next 5 years they are adding on to Kyle to expand it from 82,000 seats to 115,000 seats, making it the largest in the nation. do you have a link or anywhere we can see reports or anything on the expansion. 115,000 is alot of seats, and I think T A&M would lose something if all the seats weren't full. But, if you could fill the seats, that place would be a modern Coliseum.

Death Valley, home of Howard's Rock and the Most Exciting 10 seconds of Football when the Clemson athletes get off the bus and run down the hill. Neyland isn't bad either. Normaly I would agree with you. But if we're including fans and atmosphere as part of our ideas, Death Valley didn't exist this past Saturday. For most of the game Clemson was only down 4 points, yet the fans were way too quiet (it was shocking knowing Death valley's history) I'm going w/ Kyle field, or maybe the other Death Valley, Happy Valley ain't bad either, and Camp Randall deserves some love.

TCU is going to get crushed in every sport dude. MWC is one of the best when it comes to B-Ball. UNM, UNLV, UTAH, and BYU are all really good but even Air Force will kick the shit out of the frogs. And I can hardly wait to see the TCU ski Team UNM SKI TEAM NATIONAL CHAMPS MWC is one of the best in B-ball? If you mean one of the best 8 conferences, maybe.

I really could care less.
But, I do want to ask espn to stop comparing Reggie Bush to President Bush every single time USC is on national television.
We get it, they're both named Bush, now give it a rest.
