Pivotol Game 3's coming up today in about 10 minutes. Whoever wins this one is probably going to win the series.
GO BRAVES!

Why do they have to have something to do with politics? I think if they took ATL's old name it would be good.

As the Atlanta Journal Constitution said, Finally Cox, the master of shruging off praise, couldn't stop the hugs and the chants from the crowd at the last home game for the Braves. "Bobby, Bobby, Bobby!"
Way to go Bobby!

Cox got his 2,000th win yesterday. Only the 9th manager to reach the milestone and he's 3rd on the list in winning percentage. Finally, Cox, a man who always shrugs off the praise and says that he has had good players or some other excuse, accepts the praise and a few hugs from Smoltz, Chipper, and others.
Congrats Bobby! (I didn't see any use in starting a new thread)
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't know that there was already a thread.

The Braves did it again! They won their division for the 13th time in a row and keep the unbeatable record going. Bobby Cox says that this is one of the best ones because he had to make a team from scratch. Who whould have thought that Atlanta would clinch the title with about 9 games to go with Philadelphia way behind. What a year! Now its time to do something in the postseason for once!

HA HA Nothin' like elimating the team you don't want to play in the postseason. Hopefully it will be the Astros because we have dominated them over the years. Sorry, Cubbies. But I guess you're team is still "cursed".

Chicago's got Atlanta in the last series of the season. I think that we'll have a lot of minor league players in so the Cubs might win a few.

Looks like he held off his HR swing 'til he came home to PB Park.

This is a crushing blow to the Braves. He is one of the fastest guys in the majors and a good bat. This is his 2nd DUI so he probably isn't going to get off. He's looking at 12 months in the slammer now.

I was actually rooted for this team too. I liked this team and thought they would do well in the postseason, but sometimes you just go downhill.
The Phillies are going through the same thing. They were leading the division at the break and now they aren't even wild card contenders, the Marlins are!

The rarest feat I've seen was Mike Cameron hitting 4 HRs in a game and sending the ball to the warning track on his 5th AB.
And that unassisted triple play by Rafael Furcal was nice last year.
