Umm because Iowa State sucks and Iowa had just gotten a new head coach? I've been through Kansas and Iowa is a lot better That's because you didn't stop in Larrytown. Coolest city in the midwest, hands down.

Vince Carter's dunk in the Olympics when he hurdled the 7-foot dude was hands down the craziest dunk ever. I mean, the guy was 7'2", and whether he ducked his head or whatever, it doesn't matter, Vince flew over him like he wasn't even there. AND, this was in competition, not a contest, where you can pretty much do whatever you want.

I know, Lauren Jackson in Australian, but she plays in the US, and she's freakin' HOT, so I felt obliged to include her in my poll.

I have been glued to the television for her and Kerri Walsh's matches. Just so I could see all of that ASS!! Sorry, PJ520, there's not much of a point to this thread, but I just had to say something about that woman. She isn't the greatest looking woman, but the backside definitely goes a long way.....

I have to agree with Sci_fan in this one Buike. If you tell it, it sounds like UK has the all-world team as their starting lineup, and the all-world second team as their reserves. I think you're cool and all, but basketball does exist outside of Lexington.

He won't be as good as JR Giddons. You will see on January 9th! Just have JR crash the baseline and throw the ball up somewhere in the vicinity of the hoop. Highlight reel material every time!

I think I got it from KUSports.com. It was either that or the insiders.

So I'm wondering if we should be reading something into this. He now has a list of KU, Georgia Tech and Texas. One would assume that KU is far and away his leader, but I'm wondering why he didn't just go ahead and commit, considering that KU and Arizona were the leaders all along. In any case, I'm betting that he will give KU a commitment sometime immediately after Kevin Rogers returns from his visit later this month.

Apparently someone started some kind of rumor that Micah Downs wanted to decommit from KU and re-open his recruitment. As it turns out, these rumors were false, as he spoke with Shay Wildeboor of rivals.com and asked him to help disspell those rumors. He said that he will attend KU and that is a final decision. Sleep easy Jayhawk fans.

I agree with Coop. Walsh is good, but I can think of a handful of guys I'd rather have on my team. In fact, we've got one (Keith Langford). And as for Roberson, I think he's got Stephon Marbury written all over him, and that is NOT a good thing. I think his unwillingness to pass up his shot for better ones will cost Florida all season long. They'll win alot of games, but they won't get it done when it matters most.

Yeah, I know, we all here about how KU's seniors have Final Four experience and all this and that, but the fact is, they were not just 'ON' the team, they were each major contributors even as freshmen. Especially Miles, as he was the starting pg on both of those teams. Point Guard is the most important position on the floor, so I think that says alot about Aaron Miles. Let's not forget, they DID get to the Elite Eight last year without Hinrich, Collison and Gooden.
