Utah is getting a lot of media hype, but I think Louisville is the best team out of the four. They may have a tougher schedule, but no one in C-USA has the kind of athletes they have. I think they have the best chance to win a BCS game as well.

According the point spread, VT is the favorite against WVU. The biggest upset this weekend will be Temple against Bowling Green. Whenever we beat a D-1A opponent, its an upset. Plus I just found out that our starting QB has been cheating on his girlfriend for the past year. I know her, she's not hot, and he made the right decision. Good for you Walter.

Wisconsin doesnt have anything special when it comes to graduating players to the NFL. I was actually thinking about this in class today. Compare them to Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida State, Florida, Michigan State, Syracuse, Penn State, Tennessee, USC, and Miami and there's nothing to write home about. You give guys like Chambers, Vincent, Evans, and Dayne, but what about guys like Jamar Fletcher and Mike Echols. Both were standout college players and now Fletcher isnt even starting in football's worst secondary and Echols is just fighting to stay off the practice squad. And don't even mention Dayne. That guy has been a huge disapointment. Lets break down Wisconsin's NFL players that are considered regulars: Michael Bennett Wendell Bryant Chris Chambers Lee Evans (being generous) Al Johnson John Hall Casey Rabach Mark Tauscher Troy Vincent Thats 9 players. Of those 9, only Vincent could be considered a star, and it could easily be argued that he is not at that level anymore. Lets compare Wisconsin to Syracuse, a school you would think it would be superior to: Will Allen Gary Anderson Keith Bulluck Donovin Darius Dwight Freeney Marvin Harrison Kevin Johnson Tebucky Jones Rob Konrad Olindo Mare Donovan McNabb That's 11 players. Freeney, Harrison, and McNabb are stars. Now lets look at a power like Miami: Michael Barrow Phil Buchanon Najeh Davenport Ken Dorsey Jeff Feagles Bubba Franks Joaquin Gonzalez Edgerrin James Andre Johnson Kenard Lang Ray Lewis Earl Little Jerome McDougle Willis McGahee Bryant McKinnie Dan Morgan Santana Moss Clinton Portis Ed Reed Warren Sapp Jeremy Shockey Duane Starks Sean Taylor Vinny Testaverde Jon Vilma Reggie Wayne Nate Webster Kellen Winslow Thats 28 players, including stars like Edgerrin James, Ray Lewis, Clinton Portis, Ed Reed, Warren Sapp, and Jeremy Shockey. So while Wisconsin has done nicely, lets not get all excited about this Madison pipeline to the pros, because in reality, it doesnt exist.

He's gotta have those nice recruiting visits with surf and turf and the Jesus Shuttlesworth experience.

Simien is the only one of the listed players that has had a big injury. That has got to scare you.

Wow, a UConn fan agrees with a Duke fan on something. Naturally, it is how overrated a UNC player is. How can McCants be considered the favorite for player of the year? My top four candidates are returning All-Americans Ryan Gomes and Lawrence Roberts, plus Wayne Simien and Chris Paul.

I have not seen any recruiting website that has Crawford as a better player than Hairston. Also, UK's starting five doesnt scare me at all. Fitch, Hawkins, Daniels, Crawford, and Morris dont scare me. Who is the star that hits the big shot when they need it, and how different is this team than the one that lost to Florida A&M? Dicky V has them 3rd, I'm not sure if they are in my top 10.
I am an admitted UK hater, as my cousins are from northern Kentucky and are die-hard fans.

Hanborough wont leave early for the league once scouts start talking to him. Everything I've read says he lacks the athleticism to play in the league right now. I've also seen some places compare him to Larry Bird. Absolutely ridiculous. Any tall white kid is Larry Bird. Bird had unreal athleticism, Hansbrough is average and unproven.

How do you ignore last year's all-americans?
