i think they are gonna be pretty bad, they lost to the wizards with alot of washingtons lineup not playing....
it was a good chance to win their first game, they just couldnt pull it off

i hate to say this but the spurs are comin out of the west , or possibly houston, we will have to see how good a combo ming and tmac turn out to be.
pistons are gonna win the east, they are just too deep, but they will lose in the finals to whoever comes out of the west, garunteed.

they trashed the lakers.... very demoralizing
the lakers are gonna be that type of a team this year i think, they are gonna play solid basketball at home and horrible basketball on the road....
and after one game that chris mihm played well, mostly because camby was being a moron and kept fronting him defensively so he got like 4 uncontested layups, they dump it in to him the first 3 possesions or something like hes an albino shaq, and what happens? he gets swatted 3 times in a row ......absolutley horrible.

team might be a little higher than 7th this year, i think 6th or maybe a possible 5th seed if harpring gets back to where he was before the injuries. and in a couple years when these guys are fully gelled and playing real good team ball they will definately be a threat.

i think the rockets are a better team than the mavs this year, terry will not be able to do what nash could do for that team, nowitski will have a not so stellar first couple months i think till he gets used to playing with terry... and i think dampier might be a bit of a bust now that he has a contract, hes gonna lose all his motivation.
yao would dominate dampier down low pretty much whenever he wanted and the mavs have no one to play D against tmac.
anyway thats how i see it ;D

taking away the three pointer would definatly be a bad idea for the NBA. they wont do it either, there is way too much drama created by that little line out there. i dont think they should either, the coach should be able to rein in his guys and get them to take quality shots, the three point line is there for exceptional shooters that can make that type of shot 37+ percent of the time, the guys that shoot it at like 25 percent and up need to get a clue and help their team win by doing what they do best, be it rebounding, moving away from the ball to get better shots etc.
its just an experiment to see what the game would be like without it, and it will just be more congested defensivly. that is another thing the 3 point line does, it makes the defense have to cover you out there, if theres no bonus for jacking up that kind of a shot no one ever would, it would make the game much more boring.

im goin with dwight howard on this one.
i dont think emeka is gonna get it done the same way he did in college. i could be very wrong about this being that he is gonna be the focal point of that team and everything but i really dont see him getting ROY

yeah devin harris is looking good but nash is a special type of player that just creates for everyone around him. there is no stats for the types of things nash accomplishes in games, i think they will miss him alot this year.
btw kobe for MVP
