Loboflyer's insinuation that Sonny Lubbick should fired is crazy. Before Sonny made his way to the Fort, CSU had been to only one bowl in the previous 42 years and only two bowl games ever. Lubbick hasn't had a losing season since his first year at CSU. He even turned down an offer a few years back to take over the Miami job where he used to be an assistant. Granted Sonny has made a few mistakes recently, ie: CU game this year, but he is the only reason that the Rammies have risen to where they are now. We have a young team this year and we'll bounce back next season I'm sure of it. On another note, Barnett has done an excellent job at CU especially considering the mess Neuhesal left the program in.
I hate to say it, but I think that Utah will win this weekend. I do think though that the game will be close, just like it has been the last few years. My Rammies' D has been pretty suspect all year long and with a freshman QB it could be a blowout, but remember that Utah may overlook CSU and that the Rams have to win this game if they want anything positive to come from this season.
Starting Holland was the worst thing to happen to the rammies all season long. He only threw to David Anderson and was no threat to run. The freshman Hanie looks alot like a poor man's Van Pelt. I think that if the rammies continue to play the way they have for the last game and a half they can stick with anybody in the MWC. Besides they should have beat Utah last year if it wasn't for Marcus Houston coughing up the ball on what should have been the game winning drive.
I love the MWC, but all this talk about Utah can make a man sick. They are undefeated this year because nearly everyteam in the MWC is having a bad year. If they played the schedule that my rammies have they would proably be sitting at 3-4 just like we are.
