I think the West will go through Minnesota this year. SA is good but if Duncan or Parker goes down they are screwed. They also dont have great depth. Minnesota's 3-headed monster of KG, E.T. aka Sam Cassel, and Spree are downright scary.

Garnett could put up 30ppg but passes. He put up awesome numbers with Spree/Cassell and I don't see why he won't again. Dirk will have another awesome season but you lost the Twans but now you have Stackhouse and Terry some big gunners as well. I don't see Dirk having that huge of a point difference because it's still the same team. The Mav's are going to miss Nash thats for sure. IMO Devin Harris will be better than Nash was within 2-3 years. He is a monster with the best athleticism Ive ever seen in a PG.

No doubt, Garnett as a player is better than Dirk, but KG as E.T. and Spree on his team, both capable of averaging 20 PPG. Dirk and Terry are the only proven big scorers on Dallas (Finley not so much so because he is older and is just a jump shooter now). I think Dirk will get more shots and more oppotunities for those MVP numbers because KG has to spread it around more. Now, this could all change if Jo-Ho and Marquis become prolific scorers.

Call me a homer, but I think it will be Dirk Nowitzki, and heres why:
Dallas no longer has Nash, which means Dirk will be forced to play more post and get more easy buckets.
With Dampier guarding his back now, Dirk's defense will improve dramatically.
Dirk can now play at PF full time since the Antoines are gone.
He is the most versatile player in the game, he shoots the 3 as good as anyone and can also drive to the hoop or play the post.
I predict a 28 PPG, 10 Reb, 2 Block season for Dirk

How are you guys putting Dallas 4th, especially behind Memphis? We are clearly better than the Grizz, and arguably better than Houston. We got Dampier who will motivated by a winning team, and Dirk, who is arguably a top 5 player in the NBA. Daniels is a great young player and Terry will finally not have to do it all by himself. I can easily see them second in that division.

Im one of those guys who loves the option offense. Power I, Wishbone, Power T, Full House, etc. I love running, and since McNeal and Lewis have unreal speed, I just run each about 30-35 times a game. I usually run for around 400 yards each game.
