Just made a topic saying LeBron better win ROTY now that hes the #1 guy on one of the worst teams in the NBA. He will still get assists no matter what his points will go up a lot n the others have other good players to share with, or legit.

Because no matter what he will get assists hes not a shoot every play guy, but now he is the #1 go to guy so he will rack up more points then before and assists/ rebounds will stay same and he will run away with it. Carmelo is to inconsistent and Wades numbers wont be better then LeBron's.

LeBron better win the ROY award, his numbers are too good not to. The numbers for this kid are only going to go up. I mean a lot of you are saying he doesnt deserve the award because his team still sucks, well lets take a look at Michael Jordan's rookie team shall we? They won 27 games the year before he came, and 38 the next. It's not like he made his team into a winner, this Cavs team has a lot of young talent but has to have time to mature, I say that if LeBron can lead his team to 5-6 more wins then last season then he should deserve the ROY award. Just because Carmelo's team is better, doesnt mean he should win the ROY award. His team has a lot more talent then the Cavs, and the Nuggets aquired more talent then the Cavs during the offseason. The point is, LeBron's stats are out of this world for a 18 (now 19) year old kid. 20 points, 6 boards and 6 assists are hard for a lot of experienced players to get. LeBron should be the no brainer ROY as of now in the season.

I have been saying this for monthes, wins have nothing to do with ROY, rookies aren't there to lead you to the playoff's, they can't help who they play for....You give it to the statistical leader. Thank you.

I'm probably not the first to say this, but here it goes. In a few years, LeBron will be the first to average a triple double since Oscar Robertson. It's a tough call, he hasnt gotten a triple double yet but he has come very very close numerous times. He is averaging 20, 6 and 6 as an 18-year-old rookie, only time will tell if he can get those numbers up. Honestly I love this kid, he is my fav player outside of KG. I mean I would be impressed to see any player in the entire NBA put up these numbers, not even Kobe or Tmac are putting up these numbers this year. He's 18 and already is as good statistacally as some of the NBA's greats, now that is amazing.

LeBron his overhyped, but you got to admit he not only achieved everyones expectations but he surpased many of them. Nobody thought he would average 20, 6, and 6 right out of highschool. He has been amazing, and dont be hating him because his team isnt doing good, they were the worst team last year its not like he can turn them around to winners in one year. The main reasons the Nuggets are doing so good isnt because of Carmelo, its because they are getting a career year out of Lenard, also Nene is a year older and that much better this year, Camby isnt getting hurt like he was last year, and they got a guy that can really run the offense in Andre Miller. I guarentee that if Carmelo was on the Cavs instead of LeBron, he wouldnt be leading his team to win anymore then LeBron is, his team still needs one more guy that can really get it done and in a few years his team will be unstoppable.
