The Nebraska bball team has been much better the last few years in that they have been much more competitive than they have been. I dont know when they will be good enough to be at a top level like the football program has been.

Right after I posted, I thought; Uh-oh...and fully expected a reply of "When is the UNC football program gonna get up to 5% of the bb program?"
Thank you for being a gentleman...LOL.

will the ACC still be the powerhouse conference next season when the Big East expands?

will the ACC still be the powerhouse conference next season when the Big East expands? Depends on what you mean. The ACC will still be the most prestigious conference as far as tradition goes... but it will lose some competitiveness by adding two mediocre-at-best schools and, most importantly, destroying the round robin which has made the ACC such a tough conference over the years.

Isn't it a shame the Acc couldn't have brought in UCONN and Syracuse...now that would have been a POWER CONFERENCE fer sure! Alas, though, the move was about money and football so we will have to just move on.

Alas, though, the move was about money and football so we will have to just move on. Well the Big East is bringing in Marquette, DePaul, Louisville, and Cincinnati. Starting in 2005-2006 the Big East will be the best basketball conference.

Duke will finish 4th ...Wake,GT,NCSU wil finish 123.. UNC will battle the Cavs & Twerps for 5th.
That's right.. I think Roy will cost the Tarheels several close games, once again, with his unexplicable poor coaching decisions.

Matt, you can change boards but you post the same old stuff. If I didn't know better I would think you were a disgruntled KU fan. ;D

I had to vote Virginia, if only because they were dissed again by not even being listed as one of the contenders! LOL. Petey Gillen never met a time out that he didn't call! -Poleon

Alright! I have a logo and the school picture. They say to fear the Turtle, but I say "Fear the Cavalier" That horseman may stomp on a few more talented basketball teams this year. -Poleon

Duke has lost to much again. I'm picking Wake Forest to pull it off. NC second.
