I hope Purdue kills ND. Purdue vs ND With all due respect to Notre Dame (after all they did dominate this sport for many years)......this game will be over before half time. Purdue will have another easy win.

The ratings for these teams have not gotten to 90.00+ at this point mainly due to the SOS component in my formula. Once more games are played that number will go up.

The average NC team has a rating of about 91.50 with my system. This accounts for everything back to 1980.

Jesus Christ where do you get all these formulas I don't really know. I usually am just sitting around at maybe 2AM or something, and start working it out on a piece of paper. By 7AM or so I usually have all the problems worked out. Then I create a spreadsheet, put in the data. And I get my results.

Always... If you don't take a team seriously, your screwed. If you just don't prepare well enough...maybe 50/50.

Last season is in the past. The fact is....right now it seems that the BIG 12 North is pretty much irrelevent in the grand scheme of things. Whoever wins that division will probably be dominated by the winner of the OU vs UT game. Not to say this is set in stone, but at this point it certainly appears that way. GO SOONERS!!!!

WVU will make it til the end ...Weakest schedule and all the other top teams will end up with at least one loss...its not whos #1 its whos #2 West Virginia will lose at least 2 games in the regualar season. Neither game will be close. They will not run the table.

who will be number one at the end of the season. My pick is 1.Oklahoma 2.USC 3.Ohio State 4.LSU 5.Texas 6.Georgia 7.Purdue 8.Miami Ohio State will not finish in the Tp 5, certainly not ahead of LSU. Purdue is the best team in the Big 10 right now, and Ohio State is a distant second. You are overly confident. 01. OU 02. Virgnia 03. Purdue 04. LSU 05. Miami 06. Georgia 07. USC 08. FSU 09. Ohio State 10. Texas This is how I think it will finish.

Cool. Nice to know we're just outside of the top 25. I think that's about accurate right now. If we defeat Texas Tech this Saturday, I personally think we deserve top 25 standing. Tell me, is SoS a consideration? Yes I do consider it. I do a weekly SOS ranking for all 117 DIV-1A teams. I just go by that. So far TCU is #72 in that, but CUSA will be strong this year so I would expect that number to come up some. Texas Tech is a good non-conference opponent (as long as their QB plays well this season), and should help that ranking a little bit more.

Out of a personal curiosity for my team, where did TCU end up in your rankings, tigerbait? TCU ended up #27. They had a rating of 68.37 All of the Top 4 teams in CUSA were in the top 30. Memphis was #30 with a rating of 64.10
