I will go with Virginia Tech. If the refs don't make idiotic calls USC starts the season out 0-1. VT had the momentum, and was toying with the SC defense. One terrible call by the refs and the entire game changed. At least in my mind...SC really lost that game despite what the final score was. They did not live up to expectations that come with being the #1 team in the country, and they should have lost. My 2nd choice.....The Refs. Terrible calls decided the game. SHAME ON THEM!!!

Well, lets see... the final score reads University of Southern California 24 Virginia Polytechnic Institute 13 I'd say USC won

It's Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. I can't believe all the idiots on CBS who say that this proves Pac-10 dominance because USC beat the new tougher ACC as an away game. Considering where VT ranks in the SEC, and how poorly they played the game, I just don't see it.
