At this point Im going to go with the LSU/OSU game. A lot of it was hard for me as an LSU fan to watch. But that game was great, and ended on a positive note. The game certainly had a lot of signifiance, and was one of the better games I have ever seen. It was competitive, and was played in somewhat unforgiving conditions. Geaux Tigers!!!!

CU vs CSU was also pretty good. If only Colorado State hadn't tried that stupid play at the end. Clemson / Wake also deserves a little bit of consideration.

I would like to say Clemson/Wake, but that game wasn't what you would call an instant classic. Go up early and stop trying, only to come back and win it towards the end. With that rationale, LSU/OSU wasn't the best game, but certainly the most entertaining. So far Michigan has had the best overall game, although Purdue did fairly well. This implies lack of mistakes, offense running on all cylinders, etc.

Another that deserves some mention is TCU/Northwestern

They don't match up in suspense, etc. However, LSU/OSU wasn't what Offensive and Defensive coordinators call a good game. Neither team had stunning offenses, one won because the other missed a PAT in OT directly, an OT that resulted because of 2 other missed PAT (yes, and a bad call about a safety). TCU/Northwestern, neither had a Defense. Michigan played excelled defense, strong offense, good special teams. They had the "best" game, although not the most entertaining. I would rather emulate Michigan than LSU right now. As for most entertaining game, LSU/OSU and TCU/Northwestern both got my heart rate up. Clemson about made it stop.

LSU vs OSU by far, no other game has really even been interesting It wasn't easy for me to watch, we missed some opportunities, and then we caught some breaks. At least we came out with a win. It was a great game, it was great being there in person.

Well, the "best game" term is between the two teams, not which one team looked the best in its opener. I''d love to chip into the conversation, but i couldn't watch the end of either the LSU/OSU game or Clemson/Wake because I was up in College Park.
