TCU got knocked out by Tech and Troy by New Mexico St (Never would have guessed that one). Out of the remaining contenders L'ville has to face Miami (and not the one in Ohio) Memphis and S. Miss have to play each other as do Boise St and Fresno St.

All right, that's better. All six teams on the poll. I deleted my reply to the other thread so it wouldn't exist anymore.
At any rate, Boise stands the best chance, IMO. Fresno is No. 2 on my list. Utah could very well do it too, but more than likely it will be the winner of the Boise-Fresno game, which I believe will be Boise by virtue of the fact that they're playing on home (blue) turf.
I think we can all agree it won't be a C-USA team. Memphis, Louisville and Southern Miss will all have at least one loss, probably in-conference.
And yes, I think everyone was surprised by the Troy-NMSU game.

I still think it will be between Fresno St and Boise St although neither were impressive last weekend.

I will stick with Utah. They have really impressed up to this point.

Yes, Utah has been the most impressive to this point, but, except for Boise's game against BYU (which I admit very well could be an upset since BYU is playing better this season than they have in the recent past), all three schools only have conference games. Utah is going to have a tougher time going undefeated in the MWC than either Boise or Fresno will in the WAC (since the only team in the WAC that I think stands a chance of beating Boise is Fresno and vice versa). It's going to take a lossless season for a mid-major to get into the BCS. Not that I'm saying Utah cannot do it, just that I think Boise and Fresno stand a better chance.

Actually if a mid-major goes undefeated, they have a pretty good chance of getting in BCS because SOS is no longer its own component in BCS formula.

Oh! I forgot all about the BYU-Boise game. *Looks at score at Yahoo* Holy crap! Wow....maybe I called Boise to win the WAC too soon. Oh well, looks like I missed a heck of a game.
