There is no way Navy would deserve a BCS bowl even if they did go undefeated. The only team they play is ND and the rest are below average. At least some of the other non-BCS teams play some good team.

Louisville has to go down to the orange bowl this thursday so there hopes are over. Utah is the most likely candidate being that they dont play anyone else this year. but dont be surprised if BYU up ends them

Southern Miss just got by the University of Houston. While they are still undefeated, I don't think they have a legitimate shot anymore.

I would love it if a) TCU could turn its season around and start playing well again and b) Southern Miss would be undefeated going into the Nov. 20 game. That would spell the ingredients for sweet, sweet revenge. Doubt it'll happen exactly that way, though. Maybe not even anything close.

This will be one of those rare moments where a team that loses goes up in the polls I believe. Louisville showed that they are worthy of being a top 15 team by playing Miami to the final minute in the Orange Bowl.

At least they will improve the conference a little bit.

Yes, C-USA schools entering the Big East next year include Louisville, Cincinnati and South Florida. With those additions, I think the new Big East will be just a step below the new Mountain West (if they weren't losing Boston College, I'd say they'd be right up there).

Dropped from four down to two this week. Does anyone think it's worth pursuing any further with another thread? I still think Utah will make it.

Utah has a chance, Boise barely squeaked by Tulsa, they will probably end up with a loss or two.

Agreed. I once thought Boise was for real; no more.
