Anyone think Peterson can finish in the top 4 of the Heisman voting? I think it's a lock he wins it atleast once before he leaves OU.

223 yards is pretty good. He won't be a Top 5 Heisman finalist. Freshman never are. Anthony Davis ran for over 1,500 yards as a freshman and wasn't a finalist and either was Clarett.

Yeah, but he's too young to get a vote. Herschel Walker didn't win as a frosh.

223 Yards and no TD. I watched that game. That kid is awesome. I'm so glad he didn't go to Texas.

Its like illegal for a Freshman to win any kind of top of the notch awards. In basketball when Melo was a Frosh he should have won, same with DuJuan Wagner.

Peterson is freaking good. He wont win a Heisman this year, but im sure he will have a good chance in the up coming years.
