Everyone needs to look at the computer ranking, this is where OU is getting screwed. Overall Utah is at #4 and OU is at #5. WTF.
And look at the Sagarin Computer Poll. That is messed up. OU is at 16 out of 25 total Michigan is at O UAB is ranked ahead of LSU, Michigan and Texas in that poll.
God i hate the BCS. F*** the BCS/

All in all I think a playoff is the way to go. But I know that it won't happen anytime soon. If I had to take my choice of what is avaliable, I would take the BCS over the media polls every time. However last years BCS formula was a million times better than this years. SOS needs to be a seperate component in the formula. We went to this system in the first place to try to remove some of the bias brought to the table by the pollsters, and now I see that we are going in reverse. Give it a few more years and the media polls will again be the only deciding factor in the college football national title. Bring back last years formula!!! Eliminate the media polls!!!

I agree that SOS should be a component in the BCS, I think you should get reconition for playing a tough schedule and it will cost the teams that easy schedules every year and make them start playing tougher competion

I agree. And all this BS about pollsters including SOS in their rankings has to end. They don't watch every game. They don't know every schedule. They can't possibly know what the SOS of any given team is. Thus, they have bias in who they think is tougher and who isn't. If they included it correctly, then the computers would be a lot more similar to the actual polls, instead of being quite different.

After all, they put the team with the weaker SOS in the #1 spot. *At the end of last year LSU ended up with the #17 SOS. USC had the #52 SOS. *based on my formula
