I am not too sure about that. Career numbers yes the Lakers trio are better, but I was talking about who is the best trio this season. You compare the Wolves 3 guys' numbers to the Lakers', (Wolves: 62.1 PPG, 22.1 RPG, 16.8 APG; Lakers: 55.6 PPG, 19.6 RPG, 13.9 APG) you see that the Wolves are putting up better numbers then the Lakers in all 3 categorys. In my opinion I like the Wolves 3 guys better then the Lakers, but like I said its just my opinion.

Come playoff time your Wolves will be out again, Kobe/Shaq two of the top 5 in the league, Payton is still better then Cassell, and Sprewell is nothing near Kobe's level. Overall the Lakers are much better.....I don't care bout stats, there all future Hall of Famers. Not even close.

It doesnt matter if Payton is better then Cassell of if Spree is nowhere near Kobes level, you cant compare each Wolves player up with each Lakers player because thats not how it works. Basketball is a team sport, and most often the team that plays better as a whole is most likely the team that will come out with the victory. The Wolves play great team basketball and they play great team defense also. I bet this Wolves team has the best chance out of anyone to compete against the Lakers in a 7 game series when the Lakers are at full strength. The Spurs play great D and I always say defense wins championships but when you cant even score 80 points in a game night after night that is just not going to get it done. The Wolves have the whole package and will surprise a lot of people come playoff time.

This post is now about team chemistry? Did I ask about the Spurs? You asked what team has the best trio and the Lakers have the best three players on a team with Shaq/Kobe/Payton

No, I ment that those 3 players play good chemistry together. You were trying to compare each player separetly and thats not what you can do, you know? They score more points, they rebound better, they find the open man better, they pass better, and they play better defense. Now I know that the Lakers have 3 hall of famers playing for them but the Wolves trio can get the job done better then the Lakers trio can, period. It doesnt matter if they are hall of famers or not, the Wolves trio play better together then the Lakers trio and thats why the stats are in favor of the Wolves 3, there is nothing you can say to argue with that.

I'm just going by what the subject is and that is the best NBA trio. Your so biased it's not even funny, have you seen the Lakers play? I don't care if your trio gets 8 more ppg, or 6 more rpg because it doesnt matter....The Lakers are not playing awesome ball but I didn't expect that from them with Kobe's trial.....We save this argument for the playoff's when it matters, when the Wolves loose.

Of course I have seen the Lakers play, are you kidding? How am I biased, I never said anything bad about the Lakers, I just said that the Wolves were better. You just dont know because I bet you have never watched this team play. They are the hottest team in the league right now and are only going to get hotter when Hudson returns. They struggled early with chemsitry problems but now those 3 know each other just as if theyve been playing with each other with years. The thing that separates the Wolves 3 with the Lakers 3 is that the Wolves trio has a great friendship, the Lakers is all messed up and Shaq seems like he has no love for the game at all, he plays for the fame it seems. KG is a lot funner to watch then Shaq anyways. But come playoff time the Lakers will be tough to beat if they are at full strength and hopefully Kobe will still be playing then but I think the Wolves have a shot at beating them.

What do you mean Spurs are 14-1 in last 15? They just lost to the Sixers at home today(without Iverson). The Spurs are 12-2 on their past 14 games, the Wolves are 12-2 also on their past 14. The Wolves have actually played some good competition. The Wolves are a better team then the Spurs right now because they can play defense as well as score the basketball, something the Spurs have a very hard time doing it seems.

Even tho this isnt the best one, what about the Clippers with Brand, Maggette, and Richardson?

Maggette is overrated, he just has no other scorers thats why he is putting up those numbers. Brand is really good, very underrated. Q hes good, but most of the other groups 3rd guy is better then him.

Those 3 are 80% of the teams scoring. Most teams have a lot of players putting up 10-15 ppg. They have like 3.
