I think it is Artest, he is just an absolute stopper, he guards the best position player on every team he plays except the centers, that is saying a lot right there, just tonight he was guarding Dirk Nowitzki, who has a 5 inch height advantage on him, and he held him to 35% shooting. He also held Carmelo to 1-13 shooting, and Sprewell to 0 points, among others he shut down.

Big Ben, for stopping the inside game. Advice: Don't try taking it to the whole on Big Ben. He will own ya!

Ben Wallace is only an average defender get it threw your damned heads, you people only see his stats on Sportscenter you don't see him loose his man then grab his missed shot. Artest is th best DEFENDER in the leage so he should win the DEFENSIVE player of the year award.

Artest is certainly all defense but is not consistence in evert game..Bowen has make his reputation on mainly being a defensive specialist since coming into the NBA and can be counted on making defensive stops game after game.

Because it's obvious you see five times as many San Antonio games compared to Indiana Pacers games.

Kobe is arguably the best defender at his postion.. he's not like TMac, who can't guard for sheet!

Kobe needs to learn how to play off-ball defense first.
