LeBron James, putting up numbers not many deemed possile for a High Schooler. 20/6/6....Unreal...At just 19.
Rankings
1. LeBron James 2. Carmelo Anthony 3. Dwyane Wade 4. Kirk Hinrich 5. T.J. Ford

I picked Melo because he is a quiet performer like Garnett. He doesn't have the hype like James. That just turns my head. To much hype can be bad, hope he can continue to take the pressure. Would really hate to lose such great talent.

James is hyped for a reason, he's putting up numbers knowbody has ever seen from a SG, out of HS. He has the talent to be one of the best of all time. I think Carmelo is a hell of a rookie but i'd vote for James.

Would really hate to lose such great talent. you're not going to vote for james because he is living up to the hype while melo had a lot less of the hype and so is therefore exceeding expectations. that makes absolutely no sense. james is playing better than melo therefore he should win roty, don't handicap him because he had such high expectations, go by who's playing better and that's james

I have seen alot of players crumble under pressure after being selected #1 or#2. Not just basketball, but in all sports. and I was just saiyng that it would be a shame to lose someone with such talent to his kind of pressure. Melo would be a great rep for ROY. And it probably would piss James off enough that it'll light a fire in his pants and play that much better the following season. And blow the minds of those that doubt him.

Look at LeBron, he is more mature then half of the players in the league...You see how he handle's himself? I could never see him crumble under the pressure....He is doing much better then anyone thought....Unlike the pussies Olowokandi/Kwame. Explaan why Carmelo deserves it more?

Explaan why Carmelo deserves it more? you can't, lebron is one of a kind, i just don't get how people can reason that melo deserves it more because he wasn't as hyped and didn't have as much presuure put on him, isn't that supposed to be a bad thing? especially since lebron is putting up way better stats

Everyone can go back and forth about this forever. I just look at the big picture, not just his guady stats, which I too believe are incredible. But I also argued with those that said Artest should be the DPOY. I think he should be the meathead of the year, he may have the stats, but its his attitude thats not going to be the DPOY. And I also said if James doesn't get ROY, he'll most likley tear up the NBA next year moreso than what we all expect him, because he will be miffed at not getting ROY.

I did go by stats but I also went with team standings. Just my personal opinion. just stop talking, please, first of all the only award that has anything to do with standings is M.V.P., second of all how can you say that you are going by stats when the whole time here you were saying you were going by how lebron had to much hype so you aren't voting for him, then you said he shouldn't win so he can have a chip on his shoulder for the years to come, from what you've seen of the last couple of years how has he handled pressure? he's done better than anyone could think possible, he's excelled, don't you think he probably does better with pressure than without? if you want to vote for melo then just say so, but please don't say all this stuff that makes absolutely no sense

maybe you should learn to read from left to right and up to down. Might be able to understand what you read. Oh yeah. LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE AND NOT NIT PICK EVERY LITTLE DETAIL IN SOMEONES POSTS. Like I said its my opinion, if you don't like it write it, you don't have to look down on someone with a different opinion
