Kerry conceding has nothing to do with Bush staying president. The voting records show that he won. Even if Kerry hadn't conceded, Bush would have won.

I was relieved, I was getting worried about midnight last night that Kerry might win. 4 more years! 4 more years!

I'm glad this ended peacefully. There really was no way for Kerry to win Ohio even with the other votes and thank goodness for no recount like last time.

That's all America needs. More crappy education plans, and environmental plans. I hope Russ Feingold is our Senator until he dies. The man has balls.

You see, the difference between the two parties is significant. Republicans are proactive, Democrats reactionary. Exemplified by the fact that Bush is still in Iraq, even though many people think it might not be going well. Compare this to Clinton's handling of Kosovo. If the Democratic Party would have a stance, instead of taking everything the Republicans have and dimming it a bit, they would stand a chance. Republicans learned a lot about campaigning because they had to work hard to win the House after 40 years of Dems owning it. Now the Dem party is floundering. Daschle is gone. Kerry lost. They lost seats in the House, and the Senate. I see Kerry taking over the party leader in the Senate as sort of a consolation prize.
