Well let's see, the 5 starters in the East are Ben Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal, Vince Carter, Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady. So that means the the coaches have to pick 2 more guards, 2 more forwards, 1 more center and 2 players for any position. So in my mind the reserve center should be either Ilgauskas or Magloire and the 2 forwards should be Ron Artest and Kenyon Martin. So that leaves the 2 guard spots left, and I definetly think that Baron Davis should get a spot in the All-star lineup with everything that he has done for the team, and I also think that Jason Kidd should get a spot just because of how he has kept his team in the hunt for the Eastern Conference. So now that leaves the 2 spots that any player that plays any position can have, and I think that the candidates for those 2 spots are Paul Pierce, Stephon Marbury, LeBron James and Michael Redd. It is really tough to say who should go out of those 4, but with the way Michael Redd has the Bucks playing this season after all of the comments the experts had this offseason on how they could possibly one of the worst teams in history and how good his stat line is this year I just think it is really hard to leave him out of the All-star lineup. He deserves a spot and hopefully the coaches will realize it.
