The Wolves are 43-16 with 23 games left to play. They have to play 6 games against the "Elite 8" (Wolves, Kings, Mavs, Spurs, Lakers, Nets, Pacers, Pistons). They play the Kings (once), Mavs (once), Spurs (twice), Lakers (twice). They play a total of 12 games against "would be playoff teams if the playoff's started today". They play a total of 3 games against the Eastern conference and 20 games against the Western conference.
The Kings are 42-15 with 25 games left to play. They have to play 9 games against the "Elite 8". They play the Wolves (once), Mavs (twice), Spurs (twice), Lakers (twice), Nets (once), Pacers (once). They play a total of 14 games against "would be playoff teams if the playoff's started today". They play a total of 9 games against the Eastern conference and 16 games against the Western conference.
Both teams are now at full strength. Who do you think will win out the 1 seed?

They activated Webber but if im not mistaken he has like a 6 games suspension. Also, they are missing Bobby and Miller. I know you musta thought they were still full strength cause there starting L is still good but not the Kings full strength.

Does it really matter? Both these teams will play bad teams and move to the second round anyway...Don't think it matters.

What sets the Kings apart is the fact that they can be aggressive as they want cause there bench is filled with good Forwards and Centers. Peja, Divac, Miller, Webber, Wallace, Songaila...
The Wolves have a little bit of everything. Defense, Shooters, rebounders, passers. Thats what makes them good.
The Mavs have nothing but scoring from anywhere on the floor.
The Spurs play great team defense.

Wolves have to be careful, Spurs are gaining a lot of ground on them in the standings. They should first concentrate on winning the division before they go ahead and pay all their attention on getting the #1 seed.

Kings prove you dont hafta have super stars to win or ball hogs and its cool to see that you dont need that.

If I was a WEST team right now, I would just concentrate on playing well at home and beating EAST teams. Any top 5 team in the WEST could win it this year IMO.
P.S- Look out for Houston, there playing good ball right now.

Francis/ Mobley and Yao downlow will be deadly in the playoffs. Francis is one of the hardest players to guard, you double him Mobley great shooter and can drive. Yao could possibly be the best Center in the NBA. Put that together with Jim/ Marc Jackson, Weatherspoon, Cato, ect... these guys can go somewhere. My pick of the Nuggets not makin the playoffs might come true, they are slipping bad and you cant do that in the West. Watch for the Cavs to take the East.
